Dr. Sadaf Farasat, MD

I see a lot of Drs and she has by far been the worst one I’ve seen. It’s a shame she is the only Endo at Palomar cuz I would rather go to my primary who has done a far superior job that spend the 5 min that she took the time to do absolutely nothing for me. She was a complete waste of time.

Dr. Farasat was very thorough and took time to listen to my concerns during the visit and explained everything in detail.

First and last appointment. Dr Farasat must have been having a bad day. Without the long story the bottom line was she spent less than 10 mins, charged insurance 60 mins. Didn’t have time to explain why three insulins. We later found out was one that someone we knew died from taking to much their blood sugar went to low. Dr had preconceived judgement from where we are not sure. Tried for months to talk to her about details and never got answers. Good luck hope she has better days and not make others mad.

Dr. Farasat is very knowledgeable and caring physician.I have been following her for more than 6 months and she has helped improve my diabetes numbers. Her office staff is very efficient and helpful as well.

She is very caring and listened to my concerns with great empathy.

Sadaf Farasat, M.D; She is a extremly rude and unprofessional!! She don't take any time for listen and attend for the patient concerns and necessities. She needs to learn to be humble because is very arrogant and doesn't know how to talk with patients. **(+plus+ my appoint don't taked no more of 7 minutes with she, I was more time and better examined by the nurse)** Perlman Clinic, all the doctors are equal just arrogant and basic doctors, who don’t listen and take the time to really check the patient. This was my second visit to this clinic, the first visit the doctor didn't listen and it was clear she even didn't understand good the English; when I check my visit summary whas complete wrong what she writes about me. I call to my insurance provider looking for a change for a real professional and they tell Perlman Clinic is great and if I can take another shot maybe it's just a bad experience; we are going to call and request the exam for you. So, I have my appoiment with Sadaf Farasat, M.D and when I asked her and requested the specific exam, she simply answered, I don't know, I have never heard of this test and she changed the topic. His arrogance is greater than his knowledge!! 2 visits to Perlman Clinic for the same reason and I continue to waste my time without being properly examined and treated.

My wife had half her thyroid removed 2 weeks ago. Dr Farsat did the follow up this morning and we had and absolutely horrible experience. The appointment was for 8:30am and she was 45 minutes late, entered the room without an apology, and then proceeded not to listen to anything my wife was telling her she was feeling regarding post-op symptoms. Instead, instead this woman proceeded to tell us everything she knew based on standard medical textbooks ... except for the fact that she couldn't even recall what normal thyroid levels should be for blood work. It was as though we didn't even need to be there. We couldn't even express opinions or ask questions without being belittled and confronted.I highly recommend you find another endocrinologist. Patient beware.
