The worst thing since getting the diagnosis
I’ve had UC for over 30 years and have never been so unfortunate as to have a doctor like her! She may be ok at procedures and her understanding of gastroenterology but when it comes to human contact, run for the hills! If you have any emotions or are looking for someone to kindly explain what is going on, DO NOT go to her!

Dr. Kahn
From day one, years ago, Dr, Kahn was down to earth, listened and helped me with my microscopic colitis. My quality of life has improved dramatically because of Dr. Kahn. She has a very kind and caring bedside manor. I think the world of her.

I was referred to Dr. Kahn, who by the way has no bedside manners, by my primary physician. Needless to say, she did my colonoscopy, and diagnosed me with Ulcerative Colitis and gave me medications. Those medications were not working so she prescribed different ones. She didn’t do any follow up (a colonoscopy, blood work, nothing) to see how those medications were/ weren’t working. After about 2.5-ish years without anything helping, I finally got a second opinion. My new doctor couldn’t believe it. I was misdiagnosed and I actually have Crohn’s disease. Dr. Kahn prescribed me medications and come to find out with the symptoms I had, she prescribed me only half the doses I should’ve had. I can tell you that I know other people who have had bad experiences with her as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL!!!!!

Dr. Khan was no where as good as my previous GI doctor. I felt like she didn't understand me. The clinic where Dr. Khan was the Minnesota Oncology where I got my infusion had a very hard time communicating so it was really stupid and annoying. I would never go back to see Dr. Khan unless I moved back to Waconia. I refuse to see male GI providers and she was the only female provider so I was out of luck.

I've been a patient of Dr. Khan for years dealing with recurring ulcerative colitis. She has helped me immeasurably and I trust her and her treatment plans. I feel she truly cares about her patients and helping them get better. I have had other GI doctors but Dr. Khan is the best. I never feel rushed when I'm in to see her and her nursing staff is top notch.
