surgery mill?
one year ago, Dr Bianco performed a multi-level spinal fusion on me. immediately afterwards, I knew something was wrong.. I had increased pain in an area I'd never had pain before. never saw the doctor after the surgery, only his PA. complained to his PA about the pain at follow-ups. he explained it away as 'normal' healing or related to my knee problems. after multiple follow-ups hearing the same thing,, I didn't return. I did as I was told and had a knee replacement 6 months after my fusion. still, the pain persisted. in fact, it got worse. a lot worse.I called asking them to order an MRI so maybe we'd know what we were looking at when I came in. they said no. my pain management doctor ordered it after we realized I was on three times the opioid dose that I was before my fusion.the MRI showed severe damage to the level immediately above the fusion. they've rescheduled me twice now. I'm done. review edited for length. see Google Reviews for more details.

It has now been over 5 years since major back surgery, performed by Dr. Bianco. I had been through severe back pain over 20 years, scores of doctors, pain pills, chiropractors, back massages, etc. Performed serious physical workouts trying to get relief, but pain became progressively worse. Finally, saw Dr. Bianco, who had to remove 4 discs, realign my lower back vertebrae, and enlarge the passages for both sciatic nerves. Comparing before and after, I still have some tightness on my right lower back, but the difference is like night to day. I have gone from almost in a wheel chair to virtually no pain, and able to work now without stopping every 10 to 15 minutes. After the 7+ hours of surgery, Dr Bianco's aide informed me that they now knew how I stayed minimally functional...he said I had the strongest back muscles of anyone they had ever performed surgery on.

I was billed for an exam that was not done. I also discovered that results were charted for said exam (ie: pupil reaction to light, grip strength, etc.) After much arguing, I just paid the bill. Then, some time later, I rec'd a letter telling me that actions would be taken against me if I did not pay the balance of.... $0.00.

Professional, very good bedside manner, would recommend positively to anyone in need of a QUALITY MD (& possibly surgery; he is a Real Surgeon that will not do surgery if not required to correct a problem- he only goes after a "Clear Target") Also his PA Wade is a QUALITY, Professional and gives detailed clear understandable information to patients at their level of whatever they can take in at the time to better understand what is going on with them

Dr Bianco performed a SUCCESSFUL Spinal Fusion on the L-4 / S-1 area of my lower spine on 4/27/18. Very involved in-patient procedure. Followed by 2 mos of out-pt P.T. Today, 8 months later, the in-office X-rays indicate I have “graduated”, per Wade, his P.A.:-). YAY!!! BEST news EVER:-). Looking forward now to the New Year! Dr. Bianco, WADE, and his nursing/office staff have always been professional and courteous throughout this journey. I highly recommend this neurosurgeon! #BLESSED

I like Dr Bianco a lot. He’s an excellent surgeon and did a thorough exam and review of MRIs before doing fusion of L4-L5 six months ago. I’m still having some nerve pain in my left leg so he had a myelogram done and i’ll also have a nerve conduction test done by a neurologist. The staff have all been very nice to me, answered questions and were patient. Have had no problems with him or his staff.
