I have been a patient of hers for many years. I know that I trust her and her skills and compassion greatly aided me on my cancer journey. Her office is always clean and her staff are like family. I highly recommend her.

Lack of Cleanliness.
There is no excuse for the condition of the office. I understand trying to keep costs down, but not at the expense of cleanliness. If I could include pictures it would speak a thousand words. Dr. Hamad, though friendly, was very odd in both appearance and manner. All I can say is I didn’t feel comfortable.

Very unprofessional and rude. She could not even find the area on my mammogram that was suspicious and needed to be biopsied !! She just wants to bill for procedures that she is not qualified to do! I also have a friend who had multiple biopsies and excisions which we later found were not needed. I would recommend going to another breast center in the Triangle. There are many better qualified surgeons in the area.

I Absolutely love Dr. Hamad! She is very caring, professional and extremely skilled at what she does. She never leaves a stone unturned. Dr. Hamad tells you the truth about your diagnosis. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything, but that’s one of the things I like and trust about her. She deserves five stars on all of these reviews

I had a swollen breast that was so red, hard, and painful, that I couldn't even touch it. Clearly, the antibiotics I had been given by my PCP were not exactly right. IMO, She was abrupt (not direct) with no bedside manner. In fact, she told me that sometimes breasts just hurt. While that is true, they don't swell and hurt this much without a reason. I went to urgent care and received more antibiotics with a new referral.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hamad's for the last few years and appreciate her beyond belief. Dr. Hamad has performed two of my surgeries, one being just recently and every time I had a question or concern she would respond to me very quickly and even would call me personally to see how I was doing and on the last visit, even gave me her phone number for future reference. Dr. Hamad is an excellent surgeon and extremely good at what she does. Would recommend her to anyone I know.

She might be fabulous technically, but lacks vital communication skills, which can result in death in medicine. Both she and her staff lack a system of checks and balances to ensure patient and radiologist are notified of her findings. Failed to explain findings to patient. Failed to notify radiologist of findings. Failed to follow up with patient. Patient had advanced breast cancer.

Unorganized office and unprofessional doctor. She raced through appointment and explained nothing. It was comically bad from front desk to nurse to doctor.

I am a registered nurse. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer two months ago, I wanted a surgeon who is an expert in her field, well credentialed, and able to provide state of the art care. I also wanted a surgeon who is able to provide me with clear, concise information regarding my disease and treatment. Dr. Hamad has exceeded my expectations. I appreciated her directness, her positive outlook and sense of humor.

My experience with Dr. Hamad was fast and furious and wonderful. From the lump found in a routine mammogram, to the needle biopsy and the subsequent lumpectomy, it all happened in about 2 weeks. She is thorough, exacting and compassionate. From the first meeting, I felt completely confident and comfortable in her care. She explained everything completely, answered my questions and took her time with me at each appointment. Her professionalism and bedside manner were top notch. I would high

Excellent knowledgeable doctor. Had surgery 10 years ago and have rechecks with her. I like that Dr. Hamad is thorough and doesn't leave anything behind. She covers all her bases and is very thorough. Helps me sleep at night having breast cancer in my family.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hamad since 2001. She saved my life that day! Dr. Hamad is an extremely knowledgeable surgeon with a no nonsense attitude. Some will interpret her methods as criticism or a lack of caring when in fact the opposite is true. She is very caring person and will drive you to do the right thing to help yourself. I highly recommend her in your time of needs.

She is quick and to the point. Did a lumpectomy for me in 2012. Makes sure I visit her office regularly for follow ups and schedules all my MRIs, mammograms etc. She later removed lipomas for me. All my experiences were fine and resulted in my being in good health going forward. She keeps me on top of my healthcare with her no nonsense attitude.

Late stage breast cancer thanks to her. TERRIBLE communicator with a "I'm brilliant - you are an idiot - I don't have time to explain to you" attitude. I went in with a large mass to get a referral for an **MRI**. I explained very high risk factors, and that I was told never to bother w/mamms. NO EXPLANATION, she shook her head, took out needle w/o full explanation. Mamm missed tumor. One year later, advanced & metastatic. I've lost everything.

Don't use Dr. Hamad if you have United Healthcare! Hamad is covered under UHC, but the pathology lab that she will send your sample to is NOT covered under UHC. She will not tell you this. You will realize this after getting a $200+ bill from Raleigh Pathology Lab Associates. Dr. Hamad is not trustworthy.

I had an ultrasound on one breast last year and was told it was fine, the "margins" of the area of suspicion looked good so no need to biopsy. went to Dr. Hamad for a separate problem but she honed in on the place that I'd had the ultrasound 9 months previously. She recommended a fine needle aspiration and it came back clean. then a core biopsy procedure, also came back clear. Went for my routine mamo and was told, "there is nothing to biopsy"! So she charged me thousands of $ for nothing!

I went in to have a concern checked out but instead I had a minor procedure done. She was absolutely horrible at explaining what was going on. Then when she asked if I understood I said no and she just continued with what she was doing. She didn't ask for my permission to do the procedure at all. I will be finding a new dr right away! Oh and one more thing when I was explaining when I first felt my concern and how I found it she kept Interupting and not listening at all!
