She didn’t clearly explain the medication, and it led to side effects. After speaking with other psychiatrists afterwards, they confirmed that Dr. Syed’s treatment plan for my symptoms of trauma, after military service, were not the right ones targeted to my needs.

I liked everything about it. Dr. Saba Sayed is a good medical psychiatrist.

I have been seeing Dr Syed for a few months now and have decided to stop seeing her. I found her to be flat and void of feelings. Saba is amazing! I switched insurance and I'm seriously thinking about paying out of pocket to go back to her. She was the only psychiatrist that really listened to me. Most want to just throw meds at you and call it a day but she understood my concerns and trusted that I know my body. She is wonderful.

Dr. Syed is kind and genuinely interested to hear what I have to day. My only problem with her is more logistical. She is not very easy to reach, and she doesn't send out any appointment reminders (I've forgotten several appointments and had to pay missed appointment fees, mostly my fault). Also, she told me to start taking a vitamin but never followed up about it again, and I completely forgot about it until a different doctor told me I had a serious deficiency a year later. She could do better about reminders for appointments and medications, but otherwise she is a good psychiatrist.

Dr. Syed is a compassionate, intelligent, open, accepting and honest psychiatrist. I feel very comfortable seeing her and talking to her about anything.

I saw Dr Syed for a couple years before I moved out of the area. When I started seeing her I was dealing with some really tough emotional and relationship issues, and she helped me work through those as well as help me deal with my long-term mental health issues. She is very professional and a great listener. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good psychiatrist.

I have been seeing Dr. Syed for 2 years now. She is always professional and respectful. I was in a crisis situation last year and she guided me through it step by step. She really is a great support for me and I would recommend her to anyone, but especially women looking for a female MD.

Dr Syed is always able to handle whatever persona of mine shows up. She makes me feel like I'm out here alone. There's at least one person who knows what's wrong with me and how to manage it.

Dr Syed has been an attentive listener and active participant in helping me regain my mental health over the past year. I had worked with a psychiatrist in the past that was a bit of a mixed bag. My experience with Dr Syed has been professional, comforting and informative. I feel like I'm better equipped and empowered to make healthy decisions from my visits with her, and she listened to my fears of using drugs. We came up with a suitable treatment plan that I'm comfy with!
