Not recommended for an inquisitive person
I did not have a great experience with Dr. Saad Khan. In total I had 2 visits with him, but overall the experience both times was quite jarring. I prefer to be as educated as possible regarding clinical decisions made by my providers and I enjoy asking questions to understand the rationale behind recommendations. Most of my doctors are transparent and happy to discuss these things, but Dr. Saad seemed to take it as an affront to his competency -- making derisive comments about me in response. Would't recommend him to anyone who likes to ask questions and better understand the medication and diagnoses that he gives.

Cattle Herd
I stopped seeing Dr. Kahn after a couple of years when I started to feel he didn't actually listen to me during my appointments and rushed me out after 15 minutes. He doesn't listen and usually does most of the talking during sessions. I told him I did not think that 3 month checks in were no longer necessary and I wanted to push them out to six months. I now understand why it takes so long to get an appointment with him and why he is always behind on appointments. He probably rushes through 25+ patients a day. His response was to drop me as a patient. My general practitioner will not be prescribing me my meds.

Excellent Doctor! I have never waited an hour to go back. Tops 15-20 minutes. He has always been kind to me and listened to me. My appointments have always been 15 minutes long and I appreciate getting in and out. He’s busy and so am I. It works for me. He prescribed for me the medication that works for me! I’m happy to have found him.

No, he talks way more than he listens. Always runs late. Cares about charging you instead of actually caring.

I appreciated how well Dr. Khan listened and answered questions. However, he always ran an hour late and his office staff were less than helpful on multiple occasions.

Had my first appointment with him. Brought in with me a summary of my health issues and he actually read it. Also brought notes from current psychiatrist and he read those too! Impressive, as I need a doctor who will look at the whole situation I am in. He took time to talk with me and explain things. I actually have hope that he will be able to turn things around for me.

Seen him for over 2 years and he's recently tapered me off my dose completely and I've developed withdrawals (fevers, chills, nausea, insomnia, anger, suicidal thoughts, dizzyness, brain zaps and more) that have been going on for over a week. Called in for my appointment and he wouldn't take my call because it has to be scheduled separately and I would need to pay out of pocket for it. Told the receptionist everything and she said she would message to Doctor to see if he would schedule me.

I would not recommend Dr Khan at all. I was suffering from panic attacks and bad anxiety when I came to him, I was under his care for 5 months and I did not see any improvement on my mental health on the contrary I get worst. He will not listen what I have to say or how I was feeling he was always pushing me out the door . He won't care about you or your mental health. Now I feel much better after seeing a different doctor, within a week with the new dr I started to feel much better .

I was a patient of Dr. Khan's for a couple of years. I stopped seeing him because I no longer felt safe under his care. Dr.Khan made me feel that it was his way, or no way. He was not interested in allowing me to have any say in my care. It seems as if he craves power. He herds patients in and out of his office like they are cattle. When you see up to 30 + patients in a day, how can you justify giving them quality care?

Receptionist is terrible! She is the reason patients stop going to Dr. Khan. She never relays messages to Dr.Khan! She is rude in office and on phone. Very inconsiderate. Patients with Psychological problems do not deserve to be treated this way. I am appalled!

Dr Saad Khan's insight into the human mind and the related physiological/pharmacological knowledge is second to none. Not only is he sharp and accurate in his reading of the patient's problems, but he also understands their background and treats them accordingly. He spends enough time with his patients and listens to their problems intently while giving his inputs. I consider Dr Khan among the top psychiatrists. He is a good doctor with keen acumen and a wonderful human being. Highly recommende.
