I’m currently in the middle of being treated for ovarian cancer. Everything has gone well and I completely trust Dr. Spencer. He makes us feel very welcome and must have done a great job with surgery because I was up and walking a mile within 6-7 days after.

Vulvectomy
Dr. Spencer explained very carefully the process in removing my cancer during the surgery and what the treatment plan would be to follow my surgery. He included my husband and daughter when explaining the process and asked if they had any questions. He is very good at building relationships with his patients that make you feel very welcome to your appointment.

I definitely trust Dr. Ryan Spencer. Dr. Spencer's honest and compassionate approach is still appreciated to this day, 2 years, 8 months after he and his team performed my surgery. My husband and I just today, verbally referred one of my best Nursing School friends to Dr. Spencer. "M.T." surprised us with, "I already on Monday, researched Dr. Spencer on the UWH Madison website. I saw his video, read about him, called his office, faxed some of my medical records to them, and now am waiting to fax results of a recent test. Soon, I hope for a consultation appointment with him!" She said also, " I prayed last night for help in deciding which Doctor to choose. After talking with you, Melanie, I am now 100% certain that Dr. Ryan Spencer is the Surgeon Doctor for me." God's blessings continue in the timing of our lives!

Dr. Spencer successfully removed a pair of ovarian cysts in my abdomen that were suspected of being cancerous. He proved to be a skilled surgeon, meticulous and conscientious, and also a compassionate one. He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure, the possible outcomes, and the risks involved; abdominal surgery is always a risky undertaking especially when cancer is involved. At all times I felt my health and indeed my life was in very good hands. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Spencer is very informative in his field and took the time so that I understood my medical needs. He also answered any questions that I had regarding my cancer diagnosis. His warm personality and knowledge put my mind at ease. My Hysterectomy was successful and felt amazing within a week.
