Dr. Smith is knowledgeable, personable, professional, and runs on time !

Dr. Smith is very thorough and honest. He has taken care of issues that some previous doctors had left untreated. He and his staff are kind, caring, and efficient. I haven't always had those qualities in previously care givers for my eyes.

I had a renowned Dr from Cincinnati do cataract surgery on both my eyes. One was good and the other one never seemed right. I kept saying I had a shadow on my left eye that seemed like a thin new moon. I went to see him again and he sent me to eye specialists. I had numerous tests and even one on my brain to see if the issue was one involving the optic nerve. It never got better and I gave up. My new opthamologist in Lexington recommended Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith examined me and said he thought the lens was defective. HIs office called Medicare to be certain they would pay for a replacement. They approved and Dr. Smith completed surgery. Healing time was normal and I have never had an issue with that eye again! Recommend him highly.
