My experience with Dr Orland was terrible! This doctor was very neglectful of me! I went to see Dr Orland for a newly torn bicep on my right arm on January 5, 2023. Dr Orland didn't even try to find out what was wrong and never ordered any X-rays, MRIs, or anything else that would have determined what was wrong. I never received the referrals I was promised for orthopedics or pain management (doesn't make sense he was sending me to pain management when it has nothing to do with resolving a torn bicep). When I'd call to inquire, the secretary would tell me I was on a waiting list month after month, and never heard from anyone. Second opinions from other physicians have confirmed my belief that I was a victim of negligence. After consulting a new physician who ordered an X-ray and MRI, it was discovered that I had a torn rotator cuff which caused the torn bicep on my right arm, and that I should have had surgery right when it happened, when I saw Dr Orland in January 2023. Yet, he didn't take my torn bicep seriously and left it untreated as it was no big deal. By the time I was set for surgery on my right rotator cuff and bicep, I found out I had a medical condition which required immediate treatment, causing the surgery to be postponed. While I was undergoing the treatment, the pain was so much worse. Now that it's been a year and a half, going on two years since I injured my right arm, there will be lots of complications to the surgery. All this could have been avoided if Dr Orland ordered the appropriate tests to find out what was wrong and have the surgery right when it happened. His misdiagnosis, inattention, and lack of basic diagnostic procedures are inexcusable.

Compassionate Caregiver
He is an excellent listener and easy to talk to. He is compassionate, thorough, painstakingly works to get to the root of the problem and propose a solution, has integrity and is respectful of your opinion. Initially I enlisted him to manage my thyroid as I am a spouse ( senior citizen) of retired military and can no longer use base. Have hashimotto’s disease. He noticed other issues that I had previously been looked at for but never given a concrete diagnosis. My medical history has been very complicated and health has progressively went downhill since hip broke three years ago. He has progressively tried to help maintain quality of life. I think that managing my issues is all that can be done now. I’m praying that he can continue to help and thank him for his patience with me as I have more bad days than good do to osteoarthritis, tremors and I think nerve pain. Maybe through modern science they will come up with a cure for some of these issues. He has in office and telehealth.
