Dismissive and rude
'Had a terrible appt with him. He told my mother that she would never leave skilled nursing care or return home ever again (she was completely independent before her surgery), he told her the nursing home will take all of her money and her property, and if she gave any money to anyone after this point the nursing home will come after us all. Now, yes, this is true to a point - but this is not his place to give advice (bullying actually) and came after NEVER meeting my mother before the day he did her surgery, never having any conversation with her or learning anything about her. He talked over her, interrupted her to answer questions she wasn't asking, and was extremely rude and arrogant. This man is toxic and needs to go back to basic bedside manner class. Terrible doctor. ' followup: mom is walking and home again only 5 weeks after this doc told her she'd die in skilled care with no money. Shame on him.

I am very grateful to have Dr. Michels as my doctor. He has always been very upfront about everything. I owe Dr. Michels and the team at the Reading hospital my life. They refused to give up on me. I've been told I was the worst person they have ever worked on and the patient survived. I've been told I survived an unsurvivable accident. I believe that without the willingness of all the doctors not giving up on me.. I will forever be thankful for Dr. Michels!!!

Dr Michels took great care of my son. He repaired 9 fractures between my son's leg, ankle and foot.
