Excellent Physician
Dr. Mandell is caring, compassionate, professional & a highly ethical physician. He has been my cardiac electrophysiologist since 2016 when I was admitted to Baylor Plano Heart Hospital with atrial fibrillation. He listened closely & suggested a plan of care taking me, as an INDIVIDUAL, into consideration. The 1st electrophysiologist, after my initial diagnosis, was insistent a pacemaker procedure be done before I left the hospital. As a retired nurse, I declined the pacemaker because I felt we should at least try medication prior to a procedure. I was fortunate to have found Dr. Mandell who listened to me & thought we could try medication & monitor closely. Many times, he has sat down beside me to explain test results & answer my questions. I have called his answering service at night to have him return my call promptly. I may later need a pacemaker, it has been 6 years & I have done well with Dr. Mandell's care. I fully trust him & feel blessed to be his patient.

Best Dr. Ever!!!!
Dr. Mandell is the most compassionate, brilliant Dr out there. I met him in the ER in 2019. He put a pacemaker in me and promised it will make me feel so much better and it did! He is genuinely concerned for his patients and will listen intently and explain to great depths all while being so kind.

Excellent. Incredibly talented and caring physician. We met him in the heart hospital on two occasions. He gives straight, comprehensive information tempered with compassion and hope. He personifies everything we could ask for in a physician. Highly recommend him.

I’ve been with Dr Mandell for some time now. Unfortunately I have recurring a-fib which has required 4 ablations and at least 3 cardioversion. I’m a 58 y/o RN and do not use caffeine or energy drinks at all. Dr Mandell has been there every step of the way for me and for my husband. His bedside manner is fantastic and he has called me several times just to check on me. I can’t say enough great things about this doctor.
