Colon Cancer surgery
Dr Headley was great! Wonderful bedside manner, caring, and a good communicator. I had colon cancer, and I am healing great. The scars are small, and hardly noticeable. I would recommend Dr Headley to anyone that needs a caring, compassionate, excellent surgeon.

Selfish and indifferent
While "treating" me at Hinsdale Hospital, Dr. Headley ignored my transfer request, as I wanted to seek a second opinion at Loyola. When my nurses paged him, he got mad at them for bothering him. Maybe he's a good surgeon? But he's not a good man.

I was referred to Dr. Headley by my primary care Dr. for bariatric surgery. I found the office staff to be very friendly and courteous. Dr Headley is very personable and easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and I felt that I was in good hands with him. I did have the surgery and everything went very well. My pain was controlled very well in the hospital and barely needed any pain meds at home. I am 2 months post-op and have not had any complications. Great experience:)

Dr. Headley is AWESOME! He takes his time to make sure his patient understands exactly what you're having done, what to expect before and after, and is extremely compassionate. Day of surgery I was a complete mess, but once he came in I felt a sense of calm, which I think just comes from him. A+ Doctor!

The office staff is terrible. I was referred and did not even get to make a appointment after talking to 3 different people including the office manager. The staff is complete unhelpful and terrible to work with.
