Dr. Ryan George demonstrated a dangerous level of incompetence and a clear prioritization of profit over patient well-being. He consistently dismissed my legitimate health concerns and exhibited a shocking inability to interpret CT image reports, so much so that my primary care physician had to order the necessary imaging himself. This failure to understand basic diagnostic tools directly contributed to a misdiagnosis, made without any semblance of a thorough physical examination. Furthermore, any mention of my pain was completely disregarded, leaving me feeling unheard and invalidated. Dr. George did absolutely nothing to address my medical issues. I strongly advise seeking a competent medical professional elsewhere to avoid similar negligence.

Arrogant and rude
It honestly baffles me he has so many good reviews. His staff was fine but he was rude and arrogant from the start of the visit. He was dismissive of the immense pain I was in and only did a cursory glance in my ear. I called with further issues and was told 'we'll call in a steroid for you but if you have more issues you need to go to your GP because you might have a eustachian tube disfunction'. Isn't that something an ENT should handle? The message is clear: don't come back here. No worries, I definitely won't be back and I'll make sure I share my experience.

Broken Nose
I went in for a broken nose and Dr. George helped me understand the procedure that would be done to fix the broken bone. The surgery went well and he recommended me to another surgeon who would fix the aesthetics of my nose. Dr. George was very professional and very understanding. I would definitely recommend Dr. George for nasal issues.

I have had problems with my left ear all my life. Two different GPs recommended surgery and told me to see an ENT. Dr George, however, was completely dismissive of not only of my concerns but those of his peers. Dr George informed me that, at 54, I was too old for him to feel comfortable performing surgery. Interestingly, he had no such issue performing surgery on my husband, who is older than I. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion. My new ENT wasn't dismissive of my concerns. He agreed with his peers and scheduled the surgery asap. I would advise women, especially if you're over 40, not to see Dr George. He doesn't take us seriously.

Thank you Dr George Ryan
Dr. George is an excellent physician in ENT and sleep medicine. I have been plagued by severe nasal congestion for over two years. I went to Dr. George Ryan two months ago and was diagnosed with hypertrophy of nasal turbinates. Dr. George Ryan performed turbinate reduction procedure on me and it worked very well. My nasal congestion is completely gone now. I am very happy. Thank you Dr George Ryan.

I couldn’t be happier!
Dr George removed a cyst from my throat and did an incredible job. He answered all of my questions, made me feel confident that I was in capable hands, and followed through with a perfect surgery. The entire experience at St Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon was exceptional. Thank you to everyone who was involved. And an especially big thank you to the Anesthetist and his Nurse Practitioner for a painless and non-frightening experience. I could not have asked for more!

Dr. removed malignant mass from my tongue and several lymph nodes on the neck. All doctors on my care team have commented on how nice and thorough the surgery was. I can hardly notice my incision on the neck. He and Sam, his assistant are very kind and considerate.
