Dr. Ryan Bergeson, MD

I went with my Mother(in her early 70s) after she was referred to him after a fall. Her MRI showed some severe damage, including a previous fracture. She has been in severe pain and also suffers from an autoimmune disease that affects the spine. I’m an LVN. I’ve been around surgeons enough to know they can be condescending, but he was the worst I’ve encountered in a long time. He was RUDE to my mother, focused on her weight, I mean was REALLY rude about it, cut her off when she was trying to explain her pain to him, and then told her he sees no signs of the autoimmune disease which she has been diagnosed by a specialist and treated for the last 20 yrs. Basically acting like she was mistaken about her own DX. He referred her to another surgeon and when she stated she wasn’t sure how much longer she could handle the pain and stated she was worried being referred again would delay the procedure, he stated Well, you’ve been in pain up until now” I was appalled!

Excellent experience! I’ve made the rounds over the years with chronic conditions, and I have to say this was probably the best experience I’ve had, given none of us enjoy having to deal with medical issues.From the promptness of scheduling, which has become more and more difficult, the ease of lining up testing to jive with my appointments, accommodating my need for a certain timeframe to allow my husband to attend my follow-up appointment, the amount of time Dr. Bergeson spends with you, his interest in what is going on, and working together toward a reasonable outcome is not the norm nowadays! Would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bergeson and this clinic to anyone looking for an outstanding physician and experience!

Dr. Bergeson has taken care of my spinal injuries twice now. First time was an injury from a highway accident. The second time was age related. Both times his confidence and time taken to explain what was happening inside me and what he would do to 'fix' the situation gave me secure knowledge that he could perform the procedure. He capped off the diagnosis with prayer prior to the operation.

This visit was a 18 month follow up of my 3 level lumbar fusion. My surgery went flawlessly and relieved the debilitating issues I was experiencing.

Dr Bergeson's staff is very friendly and efficient. I was seen almost immediately for routine information and then almost immediately by Dr Bergeson. His attention to detail, ability to explain conditions and symptoms thoroughly and excellent 'bedside manner' make him the best choice in the area for back issues.

Dr Bergeson is always very easy to understand, knowledgeable and friendly. It is a pleasure to work with him. I would always recommend him to anyone with back problems.

He was honest and explained the procedure in detail to my husband. I had been told since I was 29 (I was 75 when I had the surgery.) that I had too much wrong with my back in the same area that surgery wouldn't fix it and I might as well accept the fact that I would be on muscle relaxers and pain pills for the rest of my life. Dr. Bergeson said that he could repair it and he did. He is a very talented and humble surgeon. He prayed with us before the surgery. After the surgery I was able to go to my daughter's wedding the next month.

A compassionate caring doctor. Listens to what I am saying. Has treated my husband for 3 surgeries and took excellence care of me when I fractured my back.

Arrogant, self center worse dr. I have seen in my 64 years. You will spend 8-10 K before anything will ever get started, every office visit will be worse than the previous. There are better doctors.

Knowledge. Questions answered. Caring. Skilled. Personable. Respectful of my concerns & questions.

Dr Bergeson, has been ready to listen to all aspects of what is going on with my back or leg pains to determine the best course. Never feel rushed as some Dr visits I have had in past, always looking for a long term fix not just get this shot you will feel better for awhile. Good sense of humor and just easy to talk with.

Wonderful surgeon. Very trustworthy. I love Dr. Bergesen. He takes his practice; and his patients very seriously. I highly recommend him as a spine surgeon.
