Dr. Ruth Calderon Collado, MD

I’m a christian and later I found out she is also a pastor. So, I was happy to know that and that she may very well be a good doctor. First visit, she wanted to know me from inside so had to wait for labs on next appt. Next appt, no discussion at all about my health. Spend less than 5 mins. Third visit, she said I needed new labs and did not even check my heart or lungs. I’m 65, things go very wrong with age rapidly and she did not care to examing me. Charged insurance as a physical which I did not get. Getting a new doctor. Nurse was really good, front desk terrible.

Very negative experience. Wasn’t surprised to see another 1 star review. Doctor took out her personal issue on my mother and sister. Was genuinely surprised at how things turned from a very basic follow up to how we were treated.

They are always behind with the schedule of appointments of about 2 hours waiting in the lobby. She doesn’t spend time with patients. My sister didn’t get a good medical advice. Poor service

Dr Ruth was my DR couple of years ago but I was out of state now that am back I would love her to be my DR again she was amazing!

So sad she is not accepting Florida Blue anymore. Now we have to find a new doctor. going to miss her so much.

Dr. Ruth is amazing! She is thorough and compassionate. Her staff is friendly and efficient. Very short waiting room time. On a personal note, Dr. Ruth has reduced my cholesterol to within a normal range and helped me to loose weight. I highly recommend her.

From the moment you walk in you feel like family. Staff is so friendly. Dr. Calderon is very caring and compassionate. She genuinely cares about her patients and thats the only reason I keep going back to such a great doctor. She listens and answers all of my questions. I hope she stays in this location,for my family loves the care we receive. It's also great she's is bilingual and makes it easier for her to explain things to my elderly mother.

Dr. Ruth Calderon is very warm and welcoming. Her staff was polite and confident. I was able to get the help I needed with her expertise. She is a wealth of knowledge and I look forward to my next visit.

I'm so happy I found Dr. Ruth Caldaron!! Not only is she an amazing doctor she's a great human. I have never seen a doctor care so much for her patients as she does. She literally listens to you and all your concerns.

Surprised at the amount of knowledge Dr. Ruth has. She detected my cancer on time and because of that my kids and I are grateful. If get to know her, not only will you meet a great doctor, but also an extraordinary person.

Visit was great, Dr and staff very respectful. Dr. Ruth went above and beyond my needs, she is a great Doctor. I have been under her care for 2 years, wouldn’t think about changing her.

The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful, very easy to work with, Dr Ruth is always very patient and friendly. Answers any questions I may have and takes the time to explain things. I would highly recommend Dr. Ruth .

First visit: told me not to expect anything on the first visit. I needed a physical, blood work, and papers signed, none of which was done. I talked to her for less than 2 minutes before she handed me off to the nurse. She didn't do any kind of initial exam on me, didn't even listen to my heart or lungs. Second visit: Went back to review my blood work with her, do the physical and get the papers signed. She walked into the room on her phone and called me "princess", very demeaning to an adult. AGAIN did not touch me! I still didn't get a physical, she didn't even mention my blood work or any issues she found with it. Just signed my papers ($25 for each signature) and handed me off to the nurse again. A few days later I got a notification of a prescription that was ready. Realized it was from her and was for an issue she never told me I had! Second opinion told me I did not have the issue, so Dr. Calderon misdiagnosed me. Also billed insurance for physical I never got! Overordered labs!

Dr. Ruth Calderon is such a wonderful woman. I told her a little bit about myself when I first visited her clinic and she immediately suggested I get some exams done. The year prior I had an emergency surgery to remove a tumor and wasn't able to get check up afterwards because of the surgery bill, I had no insurance too. The Peditrician that used to be my primary doctor would only "feel" my pelvis area and say that everything seemed fine. Even when I had told him of my irregular period and excruciatingly painful cramps, he reassured me I was fine without reccomending me to see a specialist. That lead me years later to be in the ER room ready for surgery. After the few exams recommended by Dr. Calderon, I was able to speak with a Gyn that clarified to me what was happening to my body and that explained solutions to what I currently have. I felt so relieved. Dr. Calderon then followed up with me after every exam I had and we talked about it. She always smiles at me no matter what.

Terrible "Doctor." On multiple visits their was no actual discussion of my health. On my first visit she only said hello and said she can't treat anything until the second visit. We had to expedite that because the hospital had diagnosed me with diabetes and hypertension. On the second visit, she didn't spend even one minute with me. I didn't know how to test or treat my conditions and no prescriptions were given. It was later attributed to her being sick, but she later said she had a trip to take. On my recent visit, she didn't discuss my lab results or medical condition AT ALL. I waited over an hour for a scheduled visit and all she did was pretend to listen to my heart and text message "her boss." She spent more time texting that attempting to communicate with me. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. The nurse is A+ though.

I love these people. Dr.Ruth, Wally, Kimberly, Liz Kay and the rest of the office staff are awesome! They have assisted so much in my battle with 4th stage cancer and in recovery now. They are my savior.
