Dr. Ruth Borgen, MD

She was great! Took my son to ER for leg pain and she was very understanding and explained everything in nicely manner. She even called me next day to check up on him, which is so rare for ER doctor to do. Highly recommend!

My son 17 years old, and my daughter 11 months old, were both sick with a cough and a fever of over 101. Dr. Borgen came into the room and started off with an attitude. She was very rude and dismissive to my husband and I, saying my daughter looks fine to her. I told her that at this moment she appears ok, but the last 48 hours she’s been crying and vomiting from her cough. Dr. Brogen’s sarcastic reply was, “well she must have gotten better the moment she came through the door.” Then she said my son was fine too, even though he has a HORRIBLE productive cough and inflamed tonsils. She said he shouldn’t need a doctors note for school. I said well if he is still sick I will call to get a note from her, to which she replied, “ok I’ll just give you one now so you don’t have to bother us.” I left in tears with 2 sick children and ZERO TREATMENT given to them. She should not be working with children, or any living being.

She was so good with my kids. Highly recommend her! Gave me more information than I expected. Wonderful wonderful doctor!

If I could leave her zero stars I would. Very rude all together. Told me I had "something wrong with me" and then proceeded to tell me the wrong diagnosis. Didn't even do a proper workup for my history and didn't even do anything for a physical exam when I came in for a lower abdominal complaint. She is not friendly and she does not know how to talk to her patients. She made me cry and still felt as though she did nothing wrong. DO NOT GO TO HER, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
