Dr. Russell Madsen, MD

Dr. Madsen was compassionate,respectful and professional. Triple threat. I fear Dr.'s because they don't treat you like a person they treat you like a condition. Not Dr. Madsen. He is absolutely wonderful. St. Mary's hospital is not where I wanted to go the staff still needs a lot of work on their people and professional skills maybe a smidge of compassion would help. But, this Dr. Made it all better. He made me feel at ease even as I heard all the negative comments from hospital staff. He took on many rolls and not just with me. I saw him during my visit with others he was above all professional he looked tired but continued to smile and put people at ease. He was a nurse, a tech a clerk a patient advocate, a translator, a kind soul,a counselor, I saw him talk to everyone with such respect I can't put into words how he touched my heart. I've never seen this. Never forgetting who was who and why they were there. God Bless him always . Trust is key and he earned it from patients.

Dr. Madsen was wonderful to me in the ER. He checked on me several times. He is kind and professional. I felt a lot better when I left the ER.

I have been doctor Madsen's patient at ER St Mary's Hospital 3 times. He was very professional, kind and thorough in discussing my diagnosis and treatment. On one occasion while reviewing a CT scan for something else he happened to find cysts on my pancreas. I had seen a doctor for stomach pain in that area and they had found nothing. Thanks to Doctor Madsen they treated the cysts and continue to do so.
