Dr. Delaney was very condescending and lectured my wife and I about parenting. He felt as though his decisions were what is best for our child. At one point when we told him we do not take medication and our son will not be either (unless absolutely necessary) he said "at 2 AM when your son is crying you will be giving him Ty1eno1". We also disagreed on certain vaccinations and Dr. Delaney yet again became very rude. We provided facts for him, but he did not care. He proceeded to talk to us as if we were children. During this same conversation we had opted for oral V. K rather than the traditional injection. Dr. Delaney proceeded to tell us "if we want our child to die of a brain bleed then that was our prerogative". I would not recommend Dr. Delaney if you are a parent who does research and prefers to question doctors at times. Dr. Delaney does not handle this situation well and wants you as the parent to just do what he says.

Dr. Delaney is one of our favorites! We decided to change over to him after Dr. Beasley retired and it was such a great decision. Every time we’ve needed to see him, he is always very polite, to the point, and eager to do what is best for our child. We would highly recommend him for your child’s care!

Dr Delaney has been my two boys doctor ever since they were babies. Whenever they have been sick he has been right there helping them get well. Always very through and taking time to discuss everything with us. We are so thankful to have him as a doctor for our two sons.

I saw Dr. Delaney concerning a possible peanut allergy for my daughter. He was very thorough and took the time to discuss all of my concerns with me. Upon getting the test results back, he called me personally and explained what we were dealing with. I truly appreciated how much time he spent talking with me and easing my fears and concerns. He did not seem rushed at all, even during flu season!

Dr. Delaney is my son's doctor since he was born. We tried other doctors when Dr. Delaney is not available and my son did not like it. Dr. Delaney treats his patients like his own child that is why my son love him. He immediately knows what is going on with the child. He is very kind and understanding and very professional.

We love Dr. Delaney and his clinic staff! We love the ease of making appointments for well visits and flu shots either online or on the phone. We have seen Dr. Delaney at the Salem and Botetourt office. If your child is sick, no problem they have nighttime and weekend hours so getting in is a breeze!
