Buprenorphine??
After 3 years on pain meds, my N.P. left this office and I therefore saw Dr. Beecher for the first time. Because I was approximately a week early for my refill Dr. Beecher felt he should change my pain medication to Buprenorphine. Upon picking up this new medication I discovered the cost was $200 per month. I contacted the office and spoke with a nurse who told me there were no other options but this medication and if I was unable to afford this medication I had no other choices. I did purchase a 1 week supply. After 1 full day, this new medication did nothing for my pain and was discussing to take as it was sublingual. Dr. Beecher had his nurse return my call and provided no information about alternatives, or even grant me a return phone call. I felt treated like a junkie trying to obtain a fix. 3 years of pill counts and urine tests which were always on track, ie. within the correct parameters and not even deserving of an explanation or even a return phone call. No thank you.

I've been to see Dr. Beecher several times. I've had nothing but good experiences. EXCEPT the shots!! THEY HURT!! ;) but were helpful at the time. The staff has always been friendly and taken the time to listen to my needs. Dr. Beecher spends the time needed for a thorough appointment. Would recommend.

I currently have a baclofen pump that was placed for muscle tone, and I travel 2.5 hrs to get it filled. I called Beecher’s office, and the staff stated, “Dr Beecher does not do pain pumps.” I ensured her that it was not placed for pain, and it was at the end of its expected life span. I am going to have my 3rd pump placed, and I would really like to have it done closer to home. There was no discussion with the Dr. or even with the Dr’s nurse. What the Dr. Seuss!
