No, thank you.
We felt a bias towards my disabled Viet Nam veteran husband from the start. Very condescending demeaning.

A great doctor
When I saw Dr Timberlake I was new to the va. He gave me a very good checkup and I had left without making a future appointment for some tests. He came out of his office and found me to make sure I would have the tests I needed. A very caring doctor.

Poor service
Recently, I visited Dr. Timberlake for an annual physical exam. This was my 2nd visit with him. The first visit did not go well. This was worse. He never used his stethoscope or took my BP. The following week, a different Dr. Found a heart murmur and referred me on to a Cardiologist. I am now looking at 2 rounds of heart surgery in my future. Dr. Timberlake failed to perform a thorough physical examination during my visit.

Dr. DoNothing I've seen Timberlake for years now. It's my opinion that he's just punching his timecard without any real honest concern for his patients. Common remedy for almost everything is to eat right and get some rest. Does not like to refer patients to speciality clinics ect. Seems like there is incentive on the VAs part to do as little as possible. Just get them in and out quickly without really doing much of anything.

He was willing to listen to my Dad's extensive history. Dr Timberlake gave reasonable recommendations for the current stage of my Dad's life. I would recommend him for someone nearing the end of their life. He was compassionate and listened well to both my Dad and me.

Just left this office with misinformation from a loud voiced man at check-in. Veterans CAN get their records immediately at the VA records department. And, learn the meaning of privacy. You talk too loud and the veteran was seeking HIS OEN FILES.

He's been my primary care doctor for almost a decade, and has helped me through several major health issues. He is always polite and professional. He referred me to some specialists when necessary and they were able to resolve my issues. I am very pleased with Dr. Timberlake and I think he deserves some recognition.

My husband has terminal prostate cancer metastisized into bones. Dr Timberlake and his staff were curtious, caring and compasionate. There was never a problem with getting an appointment. If he was caught up with a client before us the nurse notified us to an approximent wait time. Dr. Timberlake fully disclosed what he knew of my husbands case and was frank about what to expeck as far as doctor visits and treatment. He answered any question we had and answered them to the best of his knowledge.
