Dr. Ruben Velez, MD

Dr. Velez is knowledgeable, kind and takes a genuine interest in his patients. I was going not have a transplant due to some bs, that the transplant clinic/doctors put u thru. He took time out of his busy schedule to spend extra time with me to find dig into my concerns. He then discussed with me the benefits of the transplant and negatives of not getting it. He was honest and straight forward, holding nothing back. if u every have kidney issues, you would be lucky to have him for ur doctor friend. He's old school with get bedside manners, they don't make doctors like him any more, today he's one of a kind.

Dr Velez is a great doctor. Professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced and committed to your health and well being. He is one of the best.

I have seen Dr. Velez for years while treating me during dialysis. He is courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable in kidney health. He will make you feel positive throughout the kidney treatment process. He will educate you and give you information on your overall health and find ways to help you live longer. My wife and I love him like a part of our family.

He cares deeply about his patients and is an excellent listener who is not in a hurry but listens carefully before he speaks. I am so fortunate to have this team providing for my care. It was also delightful to talk a moment to Nadia who was a huge help to me when I started my 37 lb weight loss. Everyone on this team is honest and direct ... and I appreciate each of them for their role in my ongoing care with CKD.

From the time you walk in and see Becky till you see Dr Velez you are treated like family. If you are here you are probably having some issues and they are very sensitive to that fact. Very kind office.
