Dr. Ruben Mayer, MD

Dr. Mayer was once a good and kind doctor, and I'm sure he is an intelligent man, but I believe he needs to consider retirement. He'll repeat the same questions multiple times over the span of a few minutes, not seeming to remember the answers already given. His notes do not reflect what actually happens in appointments, and he doesn't remember, so it's impossible to have productive follow-up conversations. He has forgotten medication changes he made in prior visits, forgotten the entire purpose he scheduled follow-up visits, is frequently out of office, and misses diagnoses. I hope I am incorrect, but I cannot continue to recommend him as a practitioner due to these ongoing issues.

Excellent skills, both interpersonal and diagnostic. Takes the time to talk with his patients and gets to know them. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Mayer as my physician.

He CARES about his patients, Excellent, knowledgeable, was able to do accurate diagnoses for my late husband when neurologist could not.

I've been a patient for many years and have always been very satisfied.
