Caring; expert; compassionate; great diagnostician
I had and have problems that involve ears, sinuses, Eustachian tubes as well as nerve compression. I saw three sets of ENTs (including what is supposed to be the top ENTs in my state) before being referred to her in 2023. She was the only one who correctly diagnosed and is treating my unique conditions. She really cares about each patient. She has performed several procedures and a surgery on me with skill and compassion. Thanks to her I am starting to return to a more normal heath. Yes, there are times when I wait hours in her office for my appointment. That happens when she is on call at the hospital and is required to leave or if a patient (like me once upon a time) has a more urgent or complicated issue that requires more time then expected. I just being a book and relax knowing she will see me as quickly as she can and that she will give me her professional attention. Her staff are all dedicated, caring, and helpful. My life has been improved through her care.

Dr. Roya Azadarmaki and her team exemplify professionalism, dedication, and compassion. Her expertise in cochlear implant care, vertigo, and ear-related issues is outstanding, as noted by many patients. While her office can be busy, it’s clear the wait is well worth it, with staff like Sophia and Asma ensuring patients feel cared for throughout their visit. From offering timely surgeries to providing personalized attention, Dr. Roya and her team consistently go above and beyond. I recently saw Dr Azadarmaki about ear infections
My initial visit resulted in being able to hear, however I went for testing and Dr. Roya discovered a hole in my ear canal to my brain. This was what probably led to my bacterial meningitis several years ago. She was able to perform surgery to repair the hole. After recovery from this will be finding out why my eustation tubes are not draining, and what can be done. I can't than k Dr Azadarmaki enough for the excellent care.

Personally change
I have been her patient since she opened her practice and trusted her with all her recommendations especially when she found a small tumor by my punctured inner ear. I have been patient with waiting to be seen and due to my spinal issues I was able to come later and call to check in then come. Last week was it, after 3 excruciating hours in old chairs and a receptionist who constantly runs back and I assume tells her that the patients are agitated by the long wait and her inability to schedule correctly. I sent a message about a CT recently done so she could evaluate it and she said I don’t read the patient portal but I had also asked for the receptionist to tell her. I waited 2 months for the appointment but saw my Primary 3 times before. I don’t know what is happening with doctors. They take an oath to do no harm…

What happened to a great doctor? – Oct 29, 2024

I was having progressively worse random nosebleeds last year, so often and bloody that it was interfering with daily life. I went to see Dr Roya, and she was able to diagnose the issue on the spot, perform an immediate chemical cauterization right away at the same visit, and I have not had another nosebleed since, knock on wood! Excellent experience, high effectiveness, and reasonable cost! Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr Azadarmaki for almost two years now. During that time, I've had three surgeries and a large number of appointments. During this time, I've found her to be thorough, technically exceptional, and hyper focused on positive outcomes for her patients. I was originally referred to Dr. Azardarmaki for a tumor in my middle year. The original report from the local pathologist was inconclusive. She then had the specimen sent to the Mayo Clinic which was also unable to conclusively identify the type of tumor. Undeterred, Dr. Azardamarki had the specimen reviewed by a team at Moffitt Cancer Center when they identified the tumor as a newly recognized type of aggressive head and neck cancer. Once they cancer was identified, there were follow up surgeries to remove the tympanic membrane and parts of the middle ear and associated bones ensuring the cancer had been removed in its entirety and that all margins were clear. After the final surgery, the tumor suggested the possibility of very aggressive additional surgeries or radiation treatments. However, in consultation with me, we decided that the surgery itself was sufficient at this point in time without the significant risks and side effects that would have come with the additional treatments. I believe Dr. Azadarmaki did an amazing job initially following up until we identified the type of cancer to developing a treatment plan that balanced the least invasive solution with ensuring my long-term quality of life and survival rate. There are some reviews expressing frustration with some of the wait times in office and lamenting that the scheduling does not allow for more slack. However, I could not disagree more. There is no way to know when an emergency may happen or how long a particular case may take. Until MOST doctors' visits, you will NEVER feel like you are part of an assembly line with Dr. Azardarmaki. Yes, occasionally you may have to wait, but while doing so you can be assured that the doctor will spend just as much time with you when it's your turn. Dr. Azardamaki is great doctor, spends as much time as is necessary to ensure you understand your situation and options, and she cares. In my opinion, my health and quality of life and possibly even being alive is because of the treatment I received from Dr. Azardamaki and I cannot recommend her more highly.

Prioritizes Quality Patient Care
Dr. Azadarmaki was very thorough with detailed history, exam, plan and instructions. I knew that I was getting the best care possible and that she was prioritizing quality of care. This is the kind of physician that you need. I wish there were more Physicians like her. Thank you for taking such good care of me. There is not a doubt that she strives to provide this same level of care for all of her patients.

Extremely Bad Experience
In spite of her medical scribe being very patient and thorough in taking my history for the appointment, Dr. Azardamaki made no productive effort to use said record. Over the course of the appointment, she became increasingly rude. When beginning the administering of a scope, she gave me an instruction which I did not understand, and she refused to elaborate or explain when asked, leaving me in confusion. At this point, the examination devolved completely, and she ignored the rest of my issues. She then proceeded to outright dismiss a diagnosis from a previous physician along with the associated symptoms I described. While I tried in exasperation to make the appointment productive, Dr. Azardamaki took an attitude of shocking contempt and arrogance.Having waited a month for an appointment with this doctor, at the cost of other physicians I could have seen, I felt Dr. Azardamaki's disrespect for my time and need was egregious.

We waited two hours to be seen. Then while Dr Azadarmaki was seeing another patient, she rushed out of that patient's exam room cursing to run nto another one because an elderly patient had just fallen down in the room. Not safe. The Dr is overworked, with no backup. Get her more staff immediately.

Unacceptable Wait Time and Patient Needs
My recent visit to Dr. Azadarmaki's office was an exercise in frustration and disappointment. Despite arriving punctually for my appointment, I was forced to endure an agonizing 2-hour and 15-minute wait before being seen. Even after expressing my willingness to reschedule and return later due to living just 10 minutes away and needing medication, I was callously told to wait. Consequently, I missed out on my medication, compromising my health. Dr. Azadarmaki and their staff displayed a shocking lack of empathy and professionalism, prioritizing their schedule over patient needs. Avoid this practice at all costs.

Kind and knowledgeable start to finish
It is very clear that the team Dr. Azadarmaki has created is patient focused and extremely knowledgeable, which culminated to an experience of ease. We traveled from Canada to have ear tubes placed for our 3 year old boy with speech delay and bilateral ear infections. It was very exhausting as a family to not find answers in our native country, and we are so grateful for the experience from start to finish from Dr. Azadarmaki and her team. Our son is now thriving 6 days post surgery - THANK YOU

Amazing Doctor - Very rare find
I had been told by another ENT that I needed hearing aids. I was having major pain and issues. She thoroughly researched what was going on and found the root cause of my issues. It turned out to be a Cholesteatoma that was causing issues in one ear and had started growing in the other. She took her time. I am terrified of all drs due to the childhood medical traumas and she was patient, calm and treated me as a person, not just a chart or another patient. She actually talked to me. She explained things thoroughly. Her staff is also very understanding and kind. I am beyond impressed. I drive over 90 minutes one way to see her. She is worth it! She a rare gem. So very thrilled someone was looking out for me to find her.

I’ve been seeing Dr Roya for the past 4 years. I went to see her because my primary doctor wasn’t able to figure out my health issues. Dr.Roya was able to detect my medical issue and chronic sinuses. She spent her good time to find out all my medical issues. I highly recommend Dr.Roya, she knows what she’s doing and I trust her and my whole family trust her, she’s a great Doctor!

In May 2021 I sustained head trauma as a result of a fall from ladder. A result of this accident I had immediate loss of hearing to left ear and about 98% in right ear. After dealing with several brain related injuries and healing we found Dr. Azad and I was so impressed by her sincerity and amazing personality. She is an wonderful doctor and performed both right and left cochlear implants within a month. I was nervous about the procedure, but I am very happy that I chose her to perform the surgeries. The office staff is wonderful as well. They will go above your expectations to help you live a more fuller enriched life of hearing. I also wanted to express my sincere appreciation towards Dr. Azadarmaki, Nicole and staff for your help in restoring hearing for me. Sincerely, Darren Casper

Dr. Azad is amazing! My husband was referred to her for Eustachian tube dilation in January 2019 but she quickly realized he had a more serious situation. After his initial exam she ordered a CT scan and MRI of his sinuses and found a whole lot more. He needed immediate surgery. Dr. Azad saved my husband's life! We have been doctoring with her ever since. We love her and her office staff like family. Highly recommended!!
