Dr. Fujitani is extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. You won't find a better vascular surgeon - and I have had many.

I heard he's opening a different facility. its extremely strange that UCI does not have access to wave Imaging and when calling and asking their staff when making an appointment they act like they don't know what the doctor needs and even in the appointment the nurse was asking the doctor about leaving my medical records outside of the room while him and I are talking hello that doesn't help us. I tried talking to the supervisor of the staff before I came to figure out what I'm supposed to bring she didn't even know so I tried asking the UCI operator to get me somebody that might know and she was very mean saying I'm not a doctor why should i tell them what i should bring...I said that's exactly my point I don't know what to bring I need to find somebody that can tell me and then I tried to make a grievance with Norma and she was very combative and trying to just hang up on me and didn't know what I was talking about with wave an she didn't even know which facility I was talking about

I have been seeing Dr. Fujitani for more than 20 years. He is very knowledgeable, an expert in his field, he helps his patients to understand their conditions and treatment plan, and he goes above and beyond to care for his patients and show kindness. Wonderful doctor!

I have been an M.D. for almost 50 years, so I know how difficult it is for a doctor to establish a trusting, empathetic relationship with a patient, while also explaining the patient's medical issues and answering whatever questions that a patient may have. All this has to be done in a limited amount of time. Sir William Osler (the "father" of modern medicine) said that a good physician treats the disease, but a great physician treats the patient with the disease. Dr. Fujitani is the embodiment of a great physician!

I thought Dr FUJITANI was extremely helpful. He asked me many questions, and showed my husband and myself the cat scan images so we could understand. He was cherry and very engaging! I really liked him.

Dr. Fujitani was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and concerns, and took his time with me, as he didn't appear to be in a rush to see another patient. He assured me that my condition was nothing to be alarmed about and to continue with my diet and exercise plan.

Dr. Fujitani saved my mom's (left) foot from having to be unnecessarily amputated. My mom's previous vascular surgeon told me that there was no hope for my mom (after performing 2 angioplasty on her left leg and 1 on her right). We were told by her (old) vascular surgeon my mom was not a good candidate for bypass and that even after a 2nd angioplasty on her left leg, it would be a matter of days or weeks it would close again and need to amputate.We were so glad we found Dr. Fujitani (through google and the great amount of positive reviews), we had to get a 2nd opinion. We were so glad we did! Dr. Fujitani & his medical staff are the best. He cares about his patient. Dr. Fujitani told us our mom was a good candidate for a bypass and her surgeon was wrong. When the bypass was done and successful, it gave my mom a second chance in life!Thank you Dr. Fujitani & UCI medical staff! I wish there were more doctors like you who actually caresand with your expertise. Forever grateful.

My experience with finding the VASCULAR FACILITY was horrible because it says Urology on the door and there was never a suite number given for vascular so for 30 minutes I searched & finally went back to Occupational Health & a young lady was not too happy that she had to show me the way never thinking to just say it is in the urological blg!! It is hard to be cordial when your staff is rude!!!
