Simply the Best
Everyone told me Dr. Davenport was the best and she lived up to the reputation. From the moment I met her to consult on lumpectomy she was genuine, open, honest and caring. She freely gave information and drew examples and was open to as many questions as I wanted to ask. Until my consult with her the process had felt very cold and automated, honestly, and to finally meet with a warm and engaged person that actually seemed to care about me and my situation was encouraging. The day of surgery I saw her in the hall and she remembered me and said “I’m coming to get you next”. She was reassuring and calming and did a perfect job. She had told me exactly how it would go at our consult and then again before we went to the O.R. It went as planned, even better than I hoped for. I cannot say enough about how she made this whole experience bearable. Her honesty and professionalism are refreshing traits in this scary world of cancer.

Overwhelming and off the charts with patient bedside mannerisms! I felt like I always had the BEST of everything with her taking me on as a patient. Such a delightful disposition!! I am so blessed to have her in my life. Roanoke is very fortunate to have her and her abilities as such a great surgeon!!

Dr Davenport is more than just doctor. She is very compassionate and loves the lord and very patient centered. I am very pleased with the care I receive from her. Carilion is fortunate to have her as part of their clinic. Awesome doctor ??

This is one of the most informative, kind, supportive, caring and intuitive physicians I have ever met. She is obviously at the top of her game and I have never met anyone who dislikes her. In fact, most people rave about her and I can see why. Her manner and presentation are top notch and she is obviously very good at what she does.

I am so impressed with Dr. Davenport. I have never been treated so kindly by a physician. She made me so comfortable and went way over anything I ever expected. She knew I was concerned and treated my husband and like we were members of her family. I will continue to see her in the future. I am still in awe of the treatment she gave me.
