Horrible, painful Pelvic Exams and Not Honest
In all my years of pelvic exams, I have NEVER experienced such a rushed, rough forceful insertion of the speculum. This happened at six annual visits with Dr. Aldstadt. EXTREMELY PAINFUL. I just gritted my teeth and bore it. Due to occasional uterine bleeding post-menopause, I went in for a D & C with Dr. Aldstadt. I woke up after general anesthesia only to be told she hadn't been able to complete the procedure. With multiple questions as to why and with myself and husband present, and post-op, with my sister, she never once informed us that she had to stop the procedure because she had created a false passage. Only that 'she was not able to complete the case as planned.' On going for a second opinion, the surgeon immediately knew and informed me that she perforated into my uterine wall. SO dishonest and potentially dangerous. Only later did I read this in her notes! Since switching doctors, I have had four pelvic exams, with no discomfort. Spare yourself; I would NEVER recommend!!

Yes. She was professional as well as down-to-earth
I felt very confident in Dr Aldstadt's ability to perform the procedure I just had done. She explained very well (in laymen's terms) what was happening, what was going to happen during the procedure (before and after), to me and my boyfriend. I love Dr Alstadt's demeanor.

After 4 normal vaginal births, she induced me ( not in labor) telling me “one out of five ( my fifth) will be a C section “. Reaction to pitocin inducement made babies heartbeat irregular. So surprise, emergency C section. My sons head was cut by her, 4 stitches! Welcome to the world little one! I should have been sent home and come back when in labor, but she over rode nature and pressed her want of situation. Oh, and pre hospital check said I was at 7 — got to hospital and at a 2. So Stupid

I needed a hysterectomy due to fibroids. Dr Aldstadt only offer was to do an open hyst. It wasnt til I got a second opinion that a found out it was able to be done robotically. I felt like my health was not in her best interest. She could have referred me to a Dr who does them if she doesnt, but not even to let me know of that option was concerning.
