Dr. Stone has been taking care of me and many of my family members for more than 20 years. During that time, he replaced both of my hips and also has successfully managed a variety of arthritic pain issues. What is particularly special about Dr. Stone is that he genuinely cares about his patients. In addition to his surgical expertise, he is a very nice person and he treats his patients in a caring and gentle manner. I would (and have) recommended Dr. Stone to family and friends.

Dr. Stone
While visiting my Primary, he noticed how slowly I moved when standing. He recommended I see Dr. Stone, called his office, and was sent over within the hour. I met an exceptionally skilled, pleasant staff, two of which were Honey and Seth. I then met Dr. Stone, who is kind, professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my issue, which matched my symptoms and move forward with a treatment plan that is working. I cannot thank he and his staff enough.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ross Stone for about 2 years. He was the orthopedic surgeon at JFK hospital in Atlantis FL and that is how I met him when I broke my left shoulder. He couldn’t do the surgery because he specializes in hip and leg injuries. He is very kind and very smart. I went to him post-op my left shoulder and have been going to him ever since. I have osteoporosis and my bones are very fragile after too many years of running and not eating properly l. Plus genetics. I ended up breaking my right shoulder and it was operated on by a surgeon that wasn’t a specialist. Then my right hip fractured as well as a broken femur. Since he is on my plan and I knew his credentials, I asked that he do my hip surgery. Yes, it was painful, but by 6 weeks of recovery, the pain subsided mucho! His office staff is very proud and nice and goes out of there way to help me. I highly recommend Dr. Ross stone if you need an excellent surgeon,

Avoid this surgeon. Period.
According with my wife's experience AVOID this surgeon by all means. After shoulder replacement and wrist surgery it was 4 months suffering horrible levels of pain on both, wrist and shoulder. No range of motion on arm and hand. Totally incapacitated to perform nothing without my help. Dr. Stone did not show any concern about my wife's suffering. We found another orthopedic surgeon that performed a second surgery on shoulder and wrist on June 10 and problem resolved. She is fine now, doing rehabilitation and improving range of movements fast. Dr Stone was a disgrace for us.

Does not care about patient care. Only worried about how many patients seen and surgeries. Leaves doors open during visits. Definitely does not seem like he enjoys doing this anymore. His notes are horrible and don’t make sense. Very much just rushes to finish. His wife must force him to see patients. She is just as horrible.

My 83 year old father had shoulder surgery. It was supposed to be arthroscopy but some how it was incision. Dr stone definitely did not prepare me or my parents for the recovery. Dr stone never looks you in the eye when he talks to you. He didn't even tell us how to treat the wound after surgery. I had to call. He waited 3 weeks to start rehab. Awful doctor!

Being my father’s health care surrogate for over 25+ years, I had some uncertainty over Dr. Stone performing surgery on my father. Dr. Stone told me that if I did not do the surgery, my father would die, and if I did to the surgery my father would be up and walking the next day. I’m sure you can assume that regarding the one star I left, my father died days after the surgery anyway. I ask to speak more to him after the surgery numerous times, and he never came to the room. He never showed up in ICU while my father was on life support due to another stroke because of post-surgery complications. My father’s incision was infected while he was in ICU and the nurses on the 5th floor of the ICU told me that was completely normal? He told the nurses in ICU to remove the staples and pack the incision with gauze a day before my father’s passing. If you have a parent, specifically an elderly parent, and they need surgery, stay clear from this surgeon. My father was unable to speak; therefore, he
