Horrible doctor with God complex
I walked out of DR. Jensen's office today angry and frustrated. I will never see him again! He caused me even more pain but refused to own up to it, offered me no advice and then told me that he refused to talk to me because I was being "disrespectful". I was frustrated and in pain! Dr.s are not Gods and he needs to realize that! He was less than helpful as he caused me much worse pain than I was already experiencing. Worst Doctor ever!

Stuffs everyone in the same box
Opened the encounter by stating that he does not individualize therapy for any patients. They have a list of about 25 things that you have to comply with or get kicked out of the practice. It does not matter if some of the items on the list are things you cannot do--tough beans. Arrogant, full of himself, and would not listen to anything said to him about the pain problems to be treated. This is "protocol" based medicine which means that they do not give a hoot about you and your problems--the only thing that matters is the "protocol". The fact that he cannot think his way out of a wet paper bag if his life depended on it, epitomizes who he is. Stay away or be stuffed into their "box" and inevitably be discharged for "non-compliance" no matter how ridiculous their protocol is. A loser situation all the way around with a doctor who has no clue about how to practice medicine.

Best Dr!!!
Dr Jenson clearly cares about his patients and wants to help and not just prescribe drugs. After my procedure my pain improved so much!

Worst experience I have had with a doctor!
I have had chronic migraines for the last several years and was really hoping Nevada Advanced Pain Management could help. All he wanted to do is prescribe me drugs that he said I would have to take every day for the rest of my life weather or not I had a migraine. I do not like to take medication unless absolutely necessary. Every follow up appointment he spent about 5-10 minutes with me and just proscribed a new drug. Frustrated, I called the office to talk to Dr. Jenson or to get an email that I could send a message and I was told that I could only leave a message. I never received a return call from any of my messages and when I called for the final time I was told I could schedule another follow up appointment if I wanted to talk to someone. I have never had a doctor that you couldn't contact in any way. I am very disappointed how they treat their patients! It seems that they are only interested in making tons of money on office visits and not actually helping their patients.

Outstanding experience
Outstanding. I have been to several pain specialists. Dr Jenson had the skill to do the caudal epidural I needed. The pain went from 10 to 0. He is a compassionate professional who listens to his patients! Though I live in another state, I will travel to have Dr Jenson do all future procedures.

This is what Ross Jenson did to me and I would NEVER send anyone to him. If it's true, real chronic pain go elsewhere. Jenson will tell you to seek other opinions. Avoid it all together and find an intelligent Dr. who actually deals with chronic pain. He doesn't only if it's end stage cancer for pain pumps. He wants to push ablations I had one and ended up falling down stares will never do it again. Treats you like a criminal if it's real pain and suggests things that make no sense. Insulted my last pain Dr. who my pain Dr. sent me to was his practice! I know of other patients who said the same thing. Called the office of my former Dr. and asked why the hell they sent us here told them what Jenson said. His office isn't very happy either. He's with Dennis Patterson. AVOID unless patients enjoy judgement, being cut off, rude treatment, complete aversion of the real problem and insults you or your Dr if the thoughts are different from his. Listen to Jenson and get a second opinion.
