Dr. Cockrell took over my case from Dallas, Texas (kidney stone). He was very kind, explained everything and helped me decide the correct course of action.

From my initial February 2022 appointment with Dr Cockrell he has shown patience and concern for discussion of my health problem’s and issues which are ongoing, also Dr Cockrell staff is great and totally professional.

The vasectomy could not have gone more smoothly. The consultation was professional and thorough, and the procedure was quick and painless. I could have hung sheet rock that afternoon, although I would refrain from jumping jacks for a few days. I have already recommended Dr. Cockrell to my friends who are done fathering children. I also suggested him to a friend who has a very annoying child, and could benefit from a vasectomy. 10/10 -- would recommend.

Dr. Cockrell was an absolutely amazing doctor. The most kind, communicative, informative and calm doctor I’ve ever experienced. He made my surgery seem like literally nothing- he was nice and friendly and communicated with me the entire time, and he performed the surgery so quick and well! I’ve had no issues whatsoever. I would recommend Dr. Cockrell to any one I know that needs urological service.

Dr. Cockrell did have very nice bedside manner, spent appropriate amount of time with me for my appointments, and was proactive with my case. But I do not feel as if he fully explained what to expect after surgeries or procedures. Also, He failed to prescribe me an antibiotic after surgery, resulting in a severe kidney infection requiring hospitalization 2 days later. His nursing staff (except for his head nurse) were not the kindest and minimized my needs when I reached out to ask a question. They also referred me to my PCP when I called explaining symptoms of a complication post surgery (make note, when my PCP heard my symptoms, she sent me immediately to the ER).

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Cockrell and staff, I admit I was nervous due to my recent checkup result's. I was warmly greeted and welcomed by the nurse staff and immediately felt at ease when processing with the nurse and waiting on Dr. Cockrell. Dr. Cockrell was timely, upbeat, and had a pleasant smile and demeanor. I enjoyed our conversation and discussion of mine and my family medical history and all that would transpire for my exam. I left after my exam feeling informed and at ease with further, future check ups and exams. I highly recommend Dr. Cockrell and his staff for your urologist needs.
