I love Dr. Carey. He's awesome. This is one experienced and educated doctor. I'm so lucky the Patient Care Coordinator matched him with me when I told her I needed a doctor who could talk straight to me and have a sense of humor. Ross Carey is excellent and managing my Dr. Googling and allowing me to participate in my own education without talking down to me. He knows all referral sources from his many years of experience.

Came in with a fractured hip and was prescribed medication that causes me harm. Refused to prescribe Vicodin. Told me that "if I had come in the day the fracture happened" he would have. Went on to describe a seminar he attended on narcotics, completely disregarding my medical history. I tolerate Vicodin very well and do not have a history of addiction. I am a very responsible adult. However, I have had issues with SSRIs which he gave me, boasting Notriptyline it as a muscle relaxer.

Couldn't get in to see my Dr., he was available - something tells me he's always available! HE IS THE WORST! No manners, doesn't listens, asks inappropriate questions unrelated to visit, didn't seem to care why I was in at all. I will not go back to him again! The very worst!

Since my regular doctor was unavailable for routine medication check I instead went to see Dr Carey. I've been taking the same medication for 5 years, and come in every other year to discuss. Dr Carey did not listen, prescribed 2 additional medications that my normal doctor had already discussed with me and decided not to prescribe. In addition he only extended my usual medication for 2 months. Dr Carey didn't seem open to discussion about treatment. Definitley not going back to him again.

Since my doctor for 25 years had retired, I had to select a new doctor. I stuck with Edmonds Family Medicine in Edmonds, WA and choose a doctor form their raster. First impression was to see a man who seemed to be burned out, indifferent, not listening, similar to a clerk at the post office. I visited him four times, hoping that he may had some bad days, but in the end he was the same. Since he just continued prescribing the same medication I cannot attest to his medical knowledge or abilities.
