Dr. Rose-Marie Colombini, DO

She cares more about the bottom line of the health insurance company than her patients. She also tries to practice medicine way outside her field where a specialty is required.

Dr. Colombini was Not responsive to calls about decisions made for our son as a patient. Semi telehealth visit as it was through written correspondence in her UHC role. secretary/nursing assistant would only return calls Tried to ask questions about her Pediatric endocrinology experience and ability to properly understand diagnosis that a board certified pediatric endocrinologist had made regarding treatment.

Dr. Colombini does not understand Russel Silver Syndrome and the inability for a child with the genetic disorder that they are only able to potentially grow similar to standard children with the use of growth hormone. After our son has been on the use for 8yrs and is seeing a projection of 50% population growth due to the continued use since his body does not make hormone for growth. She decided not to allow use of the hormone and for two months he as been without and for two months he has not grown. So we have to wait until he drops under the barrier for her to prescribe the use of growth hormone again. Thank you for killing our son's chance of a normal life as an adult.

Same issue as the other previous reviewer. Dr. Colombini spends time denying (valid) claims for United Healthcare. Of course, I don't see this disclosed anywhere. In my case I had to spend 2 months appealing and explaining that my specialist actually made the clinically correct decision based on current professional society guidelines. The blurb she wrote for the letter clearly was a copy-paste hodgepodge that hardly made any sense but went so far as to claim a simple blood draw wasn't "safe and effective" as a test. Find a doctor with a stronger moral compass who doesn't spend their time getting rich with insurance companies and is instead focused on providing quality care. (Some doctors are even willing to go up to bat against insurance companies on behalf of their patients, I doubt Dr. Colombini would)

She is has no heart and is getting rich off of working for insurance companies overriding decisions that "specialist" make with regards to important medicine. I wouldn't trust her one bit. Doesn't care her decision causes more stress and now is causing me a relapse all because she thinks she know better than my doctor who has been treating me for over 10 years preventing me from getting a relapse. How many other people has she done this to? Heartless is putting it mildly.

Have really enjoyed having Dr Colombini as my Doctor. She is a very caring lady who listens and has given me the best care possible. I have just been informed she is leaving MultiCare and am very upset. I will miss her and would like to follow her to her next practice. Sue Knight

Wonderful doctor! Her panel is closed (thankfully), and my only complaint is that it is difficult to get timely appointments. She is both knowledgeable and up to date on current research, and has a wonderful demeanor. She is compassionate, funny, and warm.
