Dr. Rory Myer, MD

Dr Myer is very personable and thorough. He takes the time to answer any questions I have and addresses my issues. I highly recommend him and Tomoka Eye Associates!

Gossips about his peers, unprofessional, in hurry and not willing to answer questions. Will not go back to Tomoka after years of good patient services.

I would not recommend this md. He is very aloof and condescending. The way he chit chats with his staff reminds you of high school students. I felt unwelcome in his office

I went in for an eye exam at the request of my neurologist for migraines. I was not in need of a new prescription. The wait time was 50 minutes before being seen and the waiting room was packed. Once in the exam room it went quickly. I read the chart on the wall without struggle and the tech said that I was reading at 20/20. No new script was needed and I never received a refraction. History – I had purchased my sunglasses at Tomoka over a year ago and prior to that I purchased eyeglasses from another provider. A couple months after my visit I got a bill for refraction of $40. I called them and let them know I did not have a refraction. After much back-and-forth they are telling me that I am responsible for the $40 for the refraction which I never had. You know I can afford the $40 but I don’t like being billed for something I did not get. This is not a very professional business practice nor recordkeeping. I was told they are having difficulty with two computer software programs.

I've been a patient of Dr Myer for quite some time and I chose him to perform eye surgery on me. He is very skilled and my surgery was very successful. I am very impressed with his knowledge, skill, and demeanor and I recommend him most highly. He is an excellent doctor and when I need surgery again, I trust him to help me with the other eye. He is now practicing in Central Florida.
