I am sad to see dr shammas leave. He is the best doctor I have ever had. He listened to my symptoms and not my test results resulting in me having a stent put in years ago. I will miss him dearly.

I actually had a great experience. Everyone in the office was professional and courteous. And the doctor was awesome. While I was there I talked about how friendly and nice everyone was and what a great experience that I had.

Arrogant. Rude. Acted as if my being there was a waste of his time, yet sent me home with a heart monitor. He works for Vidant medial who promotes their values as compassion and education. No evidence of either of those in this experience with him. I have zero understanding of exactly what it means to have bradycardia as he stated during my visit. I considered walking out of the appointment without treatment and if it had not been for his incredibly patient, kind nurse Gena, I likely would have.

I have already written two full reviews and still getting messages to confirm my review. Don’t see anywhere I can confirm but it asks me to write a review. I’m not going to write another review.

Only saw this physician 1x when my husband was in ICU in Vidant. He was very rude and uncaring. Essentially only mumbled about his assessment and did not talk to me. Left the room as abruptly as he entered. I told the staff he was not allowed to see my husband again.

It has been three years now since I transferred my care to Dr. Shammas after I moved to Greenville. Prior to that I was in and out of the hospital and used to have a test or procedure each time a had a complaint. One of those procedures almost cost me my life. Dr. Shammas follows a very thoughtful and scientific approach in treatment. I have done so well and haven't had a single test or procedure on my heart since .
