Triggered my PTSD

Telehealth

Dr Lyon is extraordinarily knowledgeable and capable. The issue I had with her was that it felt like she was constantly scrutinizing me and almost interrogating me to find out what I was possibly doing wrong. She would take jokes literally and as a clue of what the underlying truth could be and she asked me to remove my sunglasses because 90% of communication is body language and it was obvious she was watching me closely. I’m getting anxious just recounting it!Additionally, she prioritized minimizing medication over me feeling and functioning the best I could. And then Incremental improvement was good enough even when I was drowning. I wish I could have kept Dr Lyon as a psychiatrist and if you aren’t as sensitive, she would be a great option.
