These reviews don’t make sense.
I am so shocked by the negative reviews of Dr. Trible’s manner as to seriously question whether there is more than one side to these stories. My wife has had a very mystifying course with infection following her stem cell transplant. My wife has seen him alone and I have accompanied her to one appointment. I represented physicians for over 30 years and I have encountered everything from good and bad, from engaged to indifferent. In addition to his high intellect, I rate Dr. Trible at the very highest level on caring, empathy, and dedication to his patients. Take the above negatives with a grain of salt.

Too smart to be bothered
My Dad was under his care at Emory. I asked a few questions about the severity of his infection and received a very arrogant response (and frankly a response that didn't make logical sense). It seems Dr. Trible didn't have time to be bothered by someone not his intellectual equal. When he walked out of the room I said something to the nurse about his bedside manner. She said, 'well, he is really smart.' Intelligence doesn't have anything to do with rudeness and condescension. He may be a good doctor, but my father was dying and Dr. Tribble didn't have the time or patience to explain ANYTHING.

Great First Appointment. Dr. Trible took the time to speak with me, not just to me and he listened. He reviewed my history in detail and gave me referrals to specialists. Hi demeanor was pleasant and attentive. He also offered to be a bridge to my healthcare as I lined up a GP and an endocrinologist. Office staff was courteous and helpful.

Unhappy staff, he had his nurse answer my questions when I wanted to speak directly with him. She was short with her answers and seemed bothered by me. I will not return.

During a 48 day stay at Northside Hospital, this man saved my life. He ensured that I was comfortable and knowledgeable of all of the treatment . He was genuinely concerned and was professional , effective, and supportive the whole way through. It's because of him that I'm still alive after my battle with double pneumonia .

I was admitted to Northside Hospital Atlanta on December 28, 2015 for pneumonia after being medivacked home from Aruba. Dr. Trible was the infectious disease physician on my team and did a superb job of identifying the bacteria that was causing the severity of my problems, explaining the condition to me and coordinating with my pulmonologist and internist. I couldn't have asked for better care.

Dr Trible told my mother that she had a back spasm due to putting a heavy suitcase in the trunk of a car while traveling. When we pressed for him to discuss other possible findings, he scoffed and spent time reading the semantics of her MRI results. We were not shown the actual MRI scan to see the obvious offending spot. After visiting an ortho surgeon, it was determined that she likely has an infection in her spine that will need weeks long IV antibiotics to clear. What a shame For Dr Trible.
