Horrible Doctor
I had pneumonia for 3 weeks & am immune compromised w blood clotting disease. Had 3 rounds of antibiotics and a steroid w no improvement. PCP sent me to ER. I gave all of my symptoms; shortness of breath, chest pain, fever, severe tiredness, migraines & neck pain. Blood was taken & then got in a room. 4 hrs later w o a single nurse doctor seeing me, I get taken to CT. 3 hours later, nurse comes in for first time. She says I’m being discharged. I ask why no nurse or dr had been in to see me & she shares a doctor should’ve been in. She got the doctor (45 min pass). He says I’m fine & my symptoms are normal. Discharge paperwork says I came for “lethargy”. When asked what to do if no improvement he says he doesn’t know. Answered phone w me mid sentence too. Tells me he is really busy and spent 15 w me already. Extremely rude w little knowledge to answer basic questions. After waiting 7 hours & over $2k he was inconvenienced answering relevant questions for 10 min & prescribed painkillers

Dr. Tanaka is wonderful and very compassionate. He is diligent with his work. I really use to avoid going to Charlton Methodist but if he is there I know all is well!

Dr Tanaka treated my Granddaughter for an Asthma attack 2 days ago. He did a wonderful job of treating her and got her back to normal within a few hours instead of the usual several hrs to overnight it usually takes. He was very good at communicating to us and educated us on some things about asthma we were not aware of. I would recommend Dr Tanaka very highly and plan to have him become her regular doctor if possible. Mark Powell-- Duncanville
