Not a Menopause doctor
Went to this doctor for menopause symptoms, and he completely discounted every symptom I had. He said all my symptoms could be resolved with better sleep and 'pumping iron'. He wouldn't test me for any hormone levels EXCEPT for testosterone because among my symptoms was reduced libido (which apparently he took seriously). He sent me home with a prescription for gabapentin, and I sat in my car and sobbed.I then went to a functional medicine clinic where they tested all my hormone levels and found I was completely depleted of estrogen and nearly depleted of testosterone. It didn't take long to feel much better with hormone replacement therapy. If you need a menopause evaluation, I could not recommend Dr. Rogers. I hope this helps someone.

Exceptional Care for Years!
Anxiety for the visit begins long before the actual day comes. Often by the time I arrive for my appointment, I am a ball of nerves. Walking off the elevator I am greeted with smiling faces that instantly begin to make me feel better. I look around and am surrounded by other women; all of us feeling connected at that moment for what we each must face as part of being a woman. As soon as I see Dr. Rogers nurse, I feel SO much better. She is kind, gentle, and truly cares. She is wonderful at her job!I have been a patient of Dr. Rogers for many years. His caring and gentle nature make us a perfect fit. I have the utmost confidence in him as a Doctor and human being. He knows me and cares for me; specifically how I, as an individual, need to be cared for. It is important for a doctor to truly know their patients and what they are bringing into the room; my Doctor knows me and my history. I am thankful that I have a Doctor who is truly exceptional at what he does!

I’m not sure why this guy moves around so much but I suspect it’s because he’s as intolerable to work with as he is a doctor. I’ve gone to him for 8 years on and off and he’s burned me with a speculum, suggested painful periods and vomiting were my fault, and tried to send me to a pelvic pain specialist for a gynecological problem he didn’t want to deal with. If you’re a young woman with any kind of opinion, I’d avoid at all costs. The women that work with him are saints.

Dr. Rogers is the best OBGYN I have ever gone to. He is very through, takes time to make sure your questions are answered and you understand what's going on with your body. Highly recommend him and his practice. This review comes from another medical professional, as a nurse I value his bedside manor and approach with his patients. He truly is the best!
