Today. I’m still doing wonderful. Managing my A1C and living a happy healthy life. God and Dr Matteotti saved my life. I am forever grateful!!

I highly recommend him!!! He listened when nothing showed up on my tests for 6 months!! He went in with a camera and found a large tumor and scar tissue that wasn’t visible. HE IS AMAZING!!

Dr. Ron saved my husband's life. He stayed late on Christmas eve on my husband's referral from another doctor. My husband had a tumor on his pancreas.. Dr. Ron performed the Whipple surgery a week later. That was January 2019. He keeps track of my husband through every step of his journey. Hugs us even when he sees us. He truly cares! We are so lucky to have Dr. Ron as his surgeon

Dr. Matteotti performed a robotic surgery on my mom's pancreas, it went extremely well and she didn't have any pain (miracle), he is a wonderful doctor, very pleasant and concerned with the patient! Answers questions and outlines proceedures that are understandable. Genuinely Compassionate, with a good sense of humor. All his staff and PA’s are intelligent, well informed personnel. I came into your emergency room in the middle of the night from another hospital because they explained to me that they were not equipped to take care of me. All I know is that the pain was severe and constant and just in my abdomen, I had a situation going on that no one could explain to me, to my parents or to my children why it was happening. My life changed the day I met you. You were once a stranger to me, now you’ve become someone who has made an impact on my life. Before COVID19 and after many tests and your due diligence you came to the conclusion of my diagnosis and you begin prepping me and my family for what would be a very complicated 6 hour surgery. Due to COVID19 and the hospitals shutting down surgeries you along with your colleagues took an alternative route to take care of me. You never left my side and did all you could to make this situation in my life just a little easier. My gratitude will never be shown in full. You are my silent warrior ??

Dr. Matteotti is an outstanding doctor with great bed-side manner. He sits with you and answers all your concerns before you have any surgery. He makes you feel at ease. His staff is wonderful they all seem like they are a part of one big happy family. I met Dr Matteotti on June 9,2020 his diagnosis and recommendations were 100% accurate. The surgery and recovery is everything he said it would be and I am thrilled to say I am cancer free. His office staff is second to none very helpful and accommodating. His two assistants Jill and Hayley are simply the best God bless them both. Dr Matteotti is a great Surgeon and may God Bless him and guide him to continue his great work.

Dr. Matteotti is an excellent, caring Dr. He performed liver surgery on my mom. All went well. He is wonderful and his humor helps patients to feel at ease! :) My mom is in the best of hands! Thank you!

Had my gallbladder removed great doctor was with me all the way very happy about everything

I received a very disheartening letter from Hackensack Meridian informing me in VERY VAGUE TERMS that Dr. Matteotti would no longer be affiliated with their hospital. What reason would there be that they would lose a top notch surgeon of Dr. Matteotti's expertise with such an unprofessional manner? I need an explanation.

I was referred to Dr. Ronald Matteotti, Surgical Oncology Specialist with Hackensack Meridian Medical Group, in May of 2018. Dr. Matteotti, as well as his PA's and staff, are truly amazing! August of 2018 I underwent Whipple surgery, with Dr. Matteotti and his team performing the surgery. He and his staff were truly awesome, both pre and post surgery, especially when speaking with my immediate family. His professionalism and overall conduct with his patients, as well as the trust I have while under his care is what has kept me wanting to continue under his care for these last two years as well as two surgeries. Today I received a letter that Dr. Matteotti will no longer be with Hackensack Meridian Medical Group. I am saddened to hear of this decision from HMMG. I plan to continue seeing Dr. Matteotti once he relocates to a new facility.

My brother Bill was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in 2015 and his prognosis was poor. Thankfully Dr. Matteotti was the surgeon that cared for him during his battle. He gave Bill hope which helped him fight through chemotherapy and surgery. Sadly, my brother lost his battle after two years. He was able to be walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding and meet his granddaughter. Dr. Matteotti made these moments possible. A compassionate doctor and the best of the best in his profession. I will always be grateful to Dr. Matteotti for treating my brother with dignity and giving him hope. Lori Bourque BSN RN BC

Dr Matteotti is an amazing surgeon and oncologist. We are very fortunate to have had him as our doctor. My sister had pancreatic cancer and he just performed a Whipple surgery on her. He is so responsive, attentive and caring.
