RUSHED, WRONG DR NOTE WRITTEN
The appointment was very rushed. Less than 5 min, after waiting 40 to be seen. Seen for a dislocated knee and he faxed a doctors note writing about an arm injury. Told one thing in the office- doctors note stated the opposite. We wont be back.

Not recommended for arm injury
This surgeon was affiliated with the ER that I visited for the initial injury. The ER physician’s assistant had diagnosed the injury without the need for an MRI. Dr. Howell ordered an MRI after a brief initial examination. The type of injury was a biceps tendon rupture, which presents itself in a very obvious manner. Particularly a displacement of the biceps up to the front of the shoulder. MRI’s are often not needed to confirm the injury. I had to pay a substantial co-pay for the MRI, which confirmed the injury. Upon changing surgeons, the new surgeon touched a spot on my arm and diagnosed the injury and specifically said he doesn’t often require MRIs for this injury, because it’s obvious.

Dr. Howell is a very caring, compassionate doctor with an awesome bedside manor. He takes the time to listen to his patients and makes you feel extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend him in a heartbeat. I had no questions unanswered when I left his office. You just don't find doctors like doctor Howell anymore. I feel very fortunate to have him for my doctor.

Dr. Howell put my right wrist back together after I broke it falling down stairs. There were multiple brakes and my hand was hanging like a flag with no wind. Some titanium plates and five screws later, and some wonderful therapists, I am completely back to normal. He and his PA took the time to explain and show me everything every step of the way. Highly recommended.

My primary care doctor referred me saying that I likely needed to have an MRI to find out what was going on. Dr. Howell took an X-ray and that was it. Said I had no swelling, which I do, no tenderness, which I do and there's no limited range of motion, which there is. My doctor noted all of the above when I went there but he says it's not there. Not very happy with the treatment I received. But I will say the staff was super friendly and getting an appointment was super easy. But reading some of the comments it seems to mixed reviews so maybe that's why it was easy to get in.

Absolutely was so impressed with the service I experienced, everyone who helped me recover has been amazing and overly-helpful. Dr.Howell has gone above and beyond to help me recover back to what I was before surgery. As a tennis player I was nervous about my recovery and the pace of it, so far I cant complain about anything I have experienced.

My husband went to see him for carpal tunnel. He said his symptoms don't coinside with that, that's it was a neck related issue. He has reports that clearly state it is carpal tunnel. We saw a second doctor who scheduled him for surgery, enough said.

My mother had to see Dr. Howell as her original orthopedic Dr. (Gray) was away. She was told she needed to see someone right away as the X-rays ordered by PA Joan Charish showed she had a chipped bone in her shoulder. Dr. Howell was polite but insisted there was no chip buy that she was mainly suffering from arthritus in her shoulder & knees. He went out of the room for a minute, presumably to look at X-rays again, and came back telling her the same thing. We left there quite unhappy.
