Dr. Ronald Hachiya, MD

My dad (73) had surgery this week & Dr. Ron was excellent in managing our family’s expectations, telling us what he was doing, how dad would feel, & what complication signs to watch for. While dad was preparing, my mom’s (71) blood sugar dropped and she got faint. Dr. Ron swung into action & immediately switch dad’s blood pressure cuff to her and took appropriate action, leading the nurse team to help my mom stabilize. When dad went back for surgery he found us at the cafeteria (she needed food) to check on her. He told me dad was in good hands and he’d “care for him like he was my brother.” He made sure to tell dad before he went under that mom was feeling better so dad didn’t have to worry about that during surgery. He checked on us during surgery and after. I’m a veteran and Dr. Ron exemplified the best of the type of confidence & expertise I’ve seen in the best of my military brethren. I’d absolutely trust him to care for my family again. Thanks, Dr. Ron.
