Bad news/good news Type of service: elective surgery Dr. Gmerek elected to put off my surgery due to my glucose level being to high. The risk for infection could be elevated and possible unwanted complications. This was not a risk he was comfortable putting me in. He explained all of the possible scenarios with me and I concurred with his decision. While I was disappointed that this will delay my return to a sport I love.......I respect his decision for patient care.

Dr.Gmerek is FABULOUS. Great personality, wonderful bed side manner, outstanding staff. You will feel like you have known them all your life. Dr. Gmerek makes you feel at ease, is very caring and always a smile. I would highly recommend him to all with foot problems. Dr. Gmerek is truly an asset to our medical field. Wish there were more like him!!
