Dr. Ronald Fogel, MD

Dr Fogel perforated my girlfriend during a colonoscopy. Now she has a huge scar running up and down her stomach and tens of thousands of dollars in emergency surgery bills.

Dr. Fogel performed a colonoscopy on me in September 2020. Found nothing to report! 9 months later, I went to the emergency room constipated. Left the hospital a week later with a foot of my colon removed, a colostomy, and a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. Avoid this doctor at all cost.

Horrible experience with the office and so called medical professionals. They obtained their license from a cracker jack box. RUDE, PREJUDICIAL, NEGLECTFUL, VERBALLY ABUSIVE, AND UNCARING TEAM. Refused to treat patient and dismissed problems. I thought doctors took an oath to help, but not these two clowns. Health deteriorated and had to seek out other treatment.

I was referred to Dr. Fogel by my pcp. My 1st visit was with his NP Susan Wolgamott and was a good experience. I felt she listened and by the end of the visit we had a plan. We scheduled some tests and a 2nd appt after. My EGD was with Dr. Fogel and that was my only interaction with him. He was very short and dismissive with my wife and I. My wife came with me to my 2nd appt. We had concerns about my blood work, specifically my hemoglobin #. During the visit Susan dismissed my wife concerns, and at one point put her hand in my wife's face and told her to calm down. Every test came back normal. All the while Dr. Fogel, Susan and my PCP ignored my hemoglobin # of 6.7 (normal range 13.5-17.5). It took my wife talking to HER doctor to convince me to see a hematologist. 3 days later I was diagnosed with Acute Myoloid Luekemia, with some simple bloodwork that should've been done by one of the 3 previous doctors. If I would've listened to them, it would've been too far along for treatment.

Refused service saying they don't take my insurance although they are listed as a provider with my insurance company. After repeated phone calls from myself and my insurance company, they agreed to make an appointment. Received a very curt letter from them telling me to go somewhere else! Horrible, rude office staff who do not know what they are doing.
