Dr. Dixon is hands down one of the best Primary Care physician in Boston. He listens, cares and follows up to make sure that I have all my questions answered and that I am getting the care that I deserve.

Dr. Dixon was my Primary Care Physician for 17 years. I found him to be competent, compassionate, professional, conscientious, attentive and personable. When I once expressed my admiration for him to one of his office staff, I learned that he was as highly respected and well liked by the staff as he is by me. I was very disappointed when Dr. Dixon took a career change that made it necessary for me to find a new PCP.

I've been a patient of Dr. Dixon for over 10 years and I must say that I am very fortunate to have him as a doctor. I have gone through several health scares over that time and Dr. Dixon has always been available to treat me. I must admit that I am not the easiest patient to deal with, but he has always been patient, taking his time to listen to all I have to say about how I currently feel, figuring out a course of action, and thoroughly providing the medical care that I need.

I have been a patient of dr. Ronald Dixon for almost 15 years he is one of the most attentive PCP doctors I have encountered. He truly cares about what you're going through as an individual and he treats you accordingly with respect and dignity. I would only hope that I could be his patient to the end of my time or his time whichever comes first out of mutual respect for his professionalism in the knowledge that he imparts for me in my daily treatment.

Dr. Dixon does NOT provide expert or even an average level of medical care. I suspect that is because Dr. Dixon is incapable of providing such care -- a perusal of Dr. Dixon's CV shows that this doctor is more interested in the administrative side of medicine, not the clinical side. To cloak his severe deficiencies and behaviors as a clinician, Dr. Dixon is also dismissive and arrogant as others have opined. Yes, I too will be looking for a new primary care provider.

I had hoped for a better experience. Most times I have be able to handle the arrogance, lack of interest in the patient, personal biases, and dismissive attitude. It is such a pain to switch doctors in this health environment, so you just suck it up. My last visit will indeed be my last. He had little to no interest in my health and or well being. I actually believe that if you were to ask him two hours later why I was there, he would be unable to communicate my issues.
