Dr. Ronald Andari-Sawaya, MD

Me and my husband been patients of dr, Savay just 2 appointments. It was enough to make decision to change this doctor for another one. I came to see him after hospital with smallbowel obstruction, hi even did not check my stomach, it was 1 hour wait and 10 minutes talk. He send my husband for test , but where my insurance change fordifferent office to do this test, nobody did not call to schedule thistest, i gess they lost any interest because it was different money.I call every day, sometimes twice a day ,left messages for Alexandra, his scheduling assistant, during the week. Nobody nevercall me back. My next appointment after first visit was made in3 month,on January 2025, but i got a call that they need to reschedule for the end of February, because the doctor will not be in the office. Waiting time both visits was more than one hour.When I said that I am not happy with them and I will give them bad review, she said thank you and hang up on me.I don't recommend.

I had a colonoscopy just a month ago from a doctor in the same firm.The doctor found two large polyps and made an appointment with Dr.Andari. I called the office and was told to follow the the same pre op that I did a month ago, and I questioned the pre op since it was called an EMR. The very short abrupt woman on the phone said just do it the same way as my last one which I DID,and was told after coming out of the anesthesia that the prep was poor and he couldn’t do the procedure…I NEVER received any different directions from them and communication was much poorer then my pre op….Totally frustrating and the doctor has a poor attitude.

I was sent to him from another doctor in the same firm. She removed the polyps but two were too large and sent me to him. First at doctors hospital they charge you a minimum of 400. And that’s even with Medicare. I was given no time of the procedure till the night before.The nurse told me to prep the same way as I did for DR.BARTH,and she put in the notes the pre op was good. When Andari finally got to doing the procedure he stopped due to a poor pre op when I ate and used the same kit just 4 weeks prior. I was not happy with the way they handled the whole procedure.and to be charged for following the protocol I had just completed fine. I would not recommend using them.!!!!

Dr. Andari is the best!!! He is smart, gentle, and kind and listens to the issues and decides the best treatment plan! He is compassionate and the true meaning of a gentleman! So thankful Dr Andari is taking care of me! He rocks and wouldn’t want anyone else! Thanks Dr. Andari!

This doctor is uninformative, condescending, requires another appointment to give results, was not timely in the office (waited quite a while on both visits), asked what the 'other doctor' said and repeated this information and had to be asked to examine me while in the appointment. In the initial appointment I had he called me by a 'pet' name. Not appropriate for a professional.

I USE HIM AND I GET GREAT CARE FROM HIM AND THE WHOLE STAFF , I AM VERY HAPPY WITH SAWAYA AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM

Dr. Andari started treating me during the covid pandemic, our first visit was virtual. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and he was able to put a stint in for me. My recovery was easy, peasy and I went on my merry way. About a year later I again contacted Dr. Andari because my stint had become clogged. Again he went in and corrected the issue without any incident. On the third occasion when I was experiencing the same issue Dr. Andari went in and discovered that my stint had dislodged and was gone. (these stints are very, very tiny and what happened is not something out of the ordinary). Dr. Andari then inserted a new metal stint and as of today everything is working according to plan. I'm pretty sure that this may something I may have to face again and if I do Dr. Andari will be the first one I call.

I have been with Dr. Andari in treatment and I'm unfortunately a difficult case. Dr. Andari is the best gastroenterologist and diagnostician I have ever seen / got to know. He is technically absolutely top, serious, professional, very experienced, responds individually to complex clinical pictures and humanly a very polite, respectful, honest and trustworthy person. He is very committed and takes care of us patients to the best of his knowledge and belief. I am so happy and grateful to be in such competent hands. You rarely meet such good doctors who have both (specialist and social skills). I can only recommend it for difficult and complex problems.

Dr. Andari listens very closely to any questions you may have. He is a definitely a problem solver and communicates his thoughts with me. Dr. Andari is very professional, on time for your appointment, and spends appropriate time with you.

I felt I was given the best of care at this facility. The Dr and staff were very attentive and informative about the procedure I would be having. My questions were answered. No discomfort after the procedure and instructions on discharge were very clear. A phone number provided if I had any concerns or questions once I returned home. Receiving a follow up phone call a day later to check on how I was doing.

I am a repeat patient with Dr Andari and have always had a positive experience. The office staff is friendly and professional. Dr Andari is professional, attentive and very responsive to questions and concerns. Overall a great experience everytime I visit. I will continue to recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a great doctor.

Dr. Andari is an amazing doctor. He took a comprehensive look at my entire medical history, carefully explained everything to me, and made me feel very comfortable and well informed. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a great gastroenterologist!

Dr. Andari was completely honest and gave his professional opinion. He did not push medications or treatments on me but did tell me why he suggested the treatments so I fully understood his treatment plan. I highly recommend. I have seen people that do not like his personality but being in the profession for years, he means no harm nor disrespect and I absolutely love his demeanor! Straight forward and to the point!

I found the Dr Andari really friendly and helpful. The office staff were also friendly. They were very quick to sort out my problems and did everything with a smile. It really helps when you don’t feel well. Thank you.

This is the best doctor I've ever been to. I had the best treatment. The staff is nice, the staff is perfect. It's so clean and welcoming. This is the best place I could've chose. Appointment is on time. I'm so happy I came here. I wouldn't want to go anywhere except. My experience was perfect. Thank you Dr. Andari . I would give 10 stars if I could. He truly cares about his patients. He explains everything thoroughly.
