I have very recently completed a course of proton therapy directed by Dr. Dagan. He, and the entire staff at UFPTI deeply impressed me with their willingness and ability to answer questions, their compassion for their patients, their ability to work around or remove obstacles to care delivery and their enthusiasm for delivering a favorable result. I do not recall ever having felt as cared for.

Dr. Dagan treats "you" not just what is the "Gold Standard". He and his team have been together many years. I was struggling with my modality choices, when out of the blue Dr. Dagan called me from "his family vacation" to help me through that process (never has a doctor done that!). If you're of faith you will understand when I say... I personally believe "Our Lord used this doctor to literally save my life!" - Thanks be to Him! (Treatment from approx. March 2020 - May 2020)

As a 75 year old male, I have never been more satisfied with the a doctor in any field as I have been with Dr. Dagan. If you want the best treatment for cancer in northeast Florida SEE HIM.

I would highly recommend Dr.Dagan over and over again. He is outstanding as far as health care goes. So understanding and listens to every problem no matter how small or how big it may be. So friendly and being a patient, always makes you feel at ease. Spent as much time with me as I needed. No matter what issues or problems I had he always had a solution to help. I felt completely comfortable to discuss every side effect and problem I was having due to treatment. Explained everything in depth.

Absolutely love Dr Dagan! On our first visit, he spent over an hour with my husband and me, explaining everything. Every week that we met with him, he showed so much empathy and understanding. His professionalism was unsurpassed. After the first week, I couldn't tolerate the chemo with the radiation and he agreed to stop the chemo without hesitation, and without making me feel like a failure. He was always so encouraging and helpful. I'd recommend him any time!
