I agree with what has been said by other reviewers. He doesn't seem to be able to develop any rapport with patients. He was not friendly at all, and was impatient with questions. I don't think he looked at me once during my visit, but kept himself turned away and looking at my chart the entire time. I have a colonoscopy scheduled with him in September, and I am not looking forward to it.

I would never see him again. He did an endoscopy and colonoscopy on me in January and I have never had any doctor talk to me the way he did. I even noticed the nurses eyes pop when he yelled at me for interrupting him with a question while he spoke. Plus he was very condescending to me when I ask a question before the procedure. Never would recommend him. I’m not surprised he received unfavorable reviews, although I did think maybe he just took a disliking to me. I think Elkton hospital could do a lot better than him.

First GI I saw for my issues he would not accept ANYTHING except me going onto Remicade even though my insurance refused. I had to call the cancer center the day before to check to make sure the office had not rescheduled me AGAIN even though the insurance said FOUR TIMES that I was not approved. After then having problems getting records from the hospital for anything (the office gave me everything and I was emailing them to disability because union records department refused to release anything and the GI office themselves won't do it. It is a really nice office with plenty of openings but it is hard to deal with a doctor that does not listen.

Dr Wu was rude and argumentative. He was complaining about HMO and told me that HMO doesn't pay for anything. I told him that I've never had a problem with HMO paying for things. He then became angry when I was questioning him him about my procedure. After his rudeness for 10 minutes, I finally told him that I'm leaving and would find another Dr. I left in tears and was very upset and could not believe what just occurred. I have been with DR. Wu for over 10 years and have never experienced this before . The girls in the front called me to apologize and return my co payment. I will never go to him again. I did not deserve to be treated in that manner.

I will never go back to Dr Wu. He was rude, hurried and barely even looked at me or listened to me. He had his head in my chart. He clearly made his mind up what was wrong with me before entering the exam room and was argumentative with me. He told me there was nothing wrong with me and that I needed to take some Miralax. If he had actually taken the time to listen to what my symptoms were maybe he could have made a proper diagnosis. After going to an PA who listened, it was discovered that I had a partial bowel blockage, which is very painful and can become quite dangerous. I highly recommend a different GI doctor over this one.
