When I lived in San Antonio Texas, Dr. Velasquez took Excellent care of my eyes: glaucoma condition. Excellent surgeries and follow up care. Diligent, Professional, Knowledgeable, with Great Kindness and Compassion in rendering his Care/Service of Healing. He pretended to know about cataract and glaucoma surgeries. He does not. He's learning-on-the-job putting patients at risk of losing more sight. Don't walk away, RUN away from this doctor..

Dr. Velasquez and his staff provide amazing care. he really takes the time to be with his patients and explains things in a manner that is easy for patients to understand. He takes care of both my parents, after a second opinion consul,t that save my father from having to go through an unnecessary and painful procedurre. The staff is friendly, inviting, and extremely competent. Highly reccomend him to anyone looking for an experienced ophthalmologist with a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Velasquez is such an awesome doctor and surgeon. He cares for my Grandmother, mother, father and other family members. My dad’s cataract surgery was complicated and he was so nervous. Dr. V made him feel so comfortable and the surgery went so well! He no longer has to wear glasses. He monitors me for my choroidal nevus.

Dr Velasquez took care of my right eye issue (cataracts) and performed a perfect surgery. He explained everything before the procedure and gave me the confident needed.

I met with Dr. Velasquez for an initial exam for a second opinion after recent cataract surgery performed by a different physician (not with Dr. Velasquez's practice). I had some concerns regarding the length of time it was taking for the eye to heal and the fact that my vision had not improved significantly. Dr. Velasquez answered all of my questions in a calm and professional manner. He performed a thorough exam of my eyes and reassured me that my eye was healing appropriately. He addressed other issues with my eye that explained why my vision was not improving and gave me additional printed material regarding these issues. He referred me to a specialist that could help me with these issues. His office staff were friendly, polite and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Velasquez.

Dr. Velasquez and his staff are seriously the best! Not only is his staff incredibly caring and genuinely nice, Dr. Velasquez is the same! He took great care of my eye issues and made sure I was at completely healed weeks later. It’s great to find good doctors!
