When a kidney stone is not a pacemaker
Went in for kidney stone, put In stent but had to go to KU to get stone removed.BUT on the “past medical history “ he listed “she has a pacemaker, reason unknown “ What? Never even treated for heart issues much less having a pacemaker. Hum…somebody’s due for retirement…maybe? It gets better: so called the hospital to get it removed but seems they have to send you a form that you fill out and send back with copy of consultation. They send that to the doctor who reviews it and if he agrees corrects the record. Since this is a serious entry error that follows any medical treatment anywhere I go looks like a looong time till correction?

Dr. Schoenfeld is a great physician.
Dr. Schoenfeld took care of my father and husband for years. Now he is caring for my sister. I only hope he’s still practicing if I ever need him. He is smart, knows how to talk to patients and families alike, he’s thorough and explains thing so that the average lay person understands and goes out of his way to get the care the patient needs while also making the family feel comfortable. He is a great asset to our communities. Thank you Dr. Schoenfeld!

Roger Schoenfeld did a scope and ripped something inside me that I believe has caused ongoing complications! When it ripped inside me I burst out in pain and he acted like I was the dumbest human on the planet and told me I just need to relax like I was over exaggerating! He acted like he was late for dinner and had to hurry to finish his day during the procedure. I called the hospital and told them they needed to contact him and to call me. He would only answer yes or no and told me if this was a emergency I needed to call 911 or go to the hospital. I downloaded my records online and he stated that patient tolerated the procedure without any problems. He is very rude and after I contacted him for help with pain and bleeding he refused to talk to me and had his staff cancel my follow up appointment. I should have went to a hospital as soon as he finished the scope but didn’t... now I am paying the price with my health. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Had elevated PSA. He spent a lot of time and explained exactly what to do. I followed his instructions and the PSA went down significantly. I was pleased that everything worked and I did not have to get a biopsy. He was very caring and provided a lot of education about my condition.

I would NOT recommend this so called doctor to anyone. I had an appointment yesterday, 4-25-17, at 11 a.m. and I was there at 10:30 a.m. After my check in and vitals, I sat till 12:15 and NEVER even saw the doctor, with no explanations on his tardiness from anyone. My time is valuable to me, if I make an appointment, I expect to keep it and I expect the same in return. This appointment was through the Veteran's Choice Program and I will inform them of his disrespect to patients. DISATISIFIED!!

I visited doctor Schoenfeld on Thursday 7/7/16 for follow up regarding kidney stone pain. I had xrays performed and had blood present in my urine. Experience was horrible and was treated like a drug seeker. After telling them I would not make a follow up appointment and would never return my pain medication prescription was promptly cancelled. He even prescribed Glypyrrolate (medication for ulcers) for my kidney stone but no flowmax. Filing complaint with state medical board. STAY AWAY!!
