Dr. Roger Hakimian, MD

Dr. Hakimian has been my physician at the Hope Center since Dr. Knight retired. So, he has been viewing my labs and coordinating my treatments for a long time. He also coordinates with my Multiple Myeloma doctor of the Cleveland Clinic. He is very caring and informational. He worries about my traveling out of the area or country since I have come back quite ill a couple times. He takes time to chat about labs and listens to my problems. He offers suggestions. I am quite happy seeing Dr. Hakimian and hope he is around a long time....I hope to be too!!!

My cancer and treatment plan were explained very well. Everyone is so nice. It's easy to get an appointment scheduled and they seem to run ON schedule. They are very helpful in linking me to other doctors and services.

Dr Hakimian is easy to talk to. Everyone in the office are friendly and helpful.

FOLLOW UP from previous treatments for Cancer.

Dr Hakimian is very professional, courteous and friendly. He always listens and answers every question. He is dedicated and provides excellent care.

When I arrived and signed in within about 10 or 15 minutes I was taken back. I was met by a nurse or an aide who was very cordial. She got me set up and ex[lained what was going to happen and how long the procedure takes. When I was finished the nurse or aide helped me out to my car. Everybody was very nice.

Everyone is very helpful, Dr. HAKIMIAN makes me feel that he is going to solve my problem.

Everyone at the Hope Center has been kind, caring and very supportive. No one ever is prepared to have cancer and all that comes with it. It's wonderful to know that I have such a wonderful team of people helping me through this difficult time. Thank you so much for all that you do!

he listens to you and answers questions , very thorough . I was just so used to Dr Knight who had me coming in more regularly. and was a lot stricter with my hematocrit but like him a lot

Dr.Hakimian takes time to ask how I am. When my cancer was increasing and treatments weren’t working, he sent me to consult with a Dr at Cleveland Clinic. He takes time to talk to me about how I feel etc. He changed my meds when needed. I feel he cares about his patients and has a great bedside manner. I would recommend him to others with cancer.

I "fired" Dr. Hakimian. He has a tenancy not to review your chart prior to patient visit and as a result gives you inaccurate information that he later has to correct. It's an medical interaction that could be disastrous. I deserve better care and therefore felt the need to stop seeing him.

Many "fails" with this practice. A nurse from this office called to rudely inform me that I did NOT have leukemia. The next day, Haikiman called to say I did have leukemia. Important blood tests were ignored/never drawn. My chemo refill request from the pharmacy was ignored for months. Too many "fails" to explain. When I finally became discouraged with the laxidasical treatment and voiced my frustrations, I was dropped from the practice via mail, left without my chemo medicine.
