Money grab clinic
Previously, my son saw Dr. Bonilla when the clinic was called Pediatrix ENT. We had a good experience and needed a quick follow up on his tonsils at the end of last year. The clinic had changed to University Health & Dr. Bonilla retired, so we saw Dr. Moe. When I scheduled the appointment, the receptionist scheduled a hearing test along with his check up appointment. I did not ask for a hearing test nor did my son need one (there was no concern with his hearing & this was not requested on the referral from his pediatrician). Following the appointment I was sent a bill. To my surprise, the clinic charged my insurance over $1,500 for the hearing test! This ended up being over $550 out of pocket. There wasn’t a valid reason to conduct a hearing test. I truly believe this is a money grab practice by this clinic. Because this clinic is now affiliated with a hospital- they’re billing outrageous hospital prices. Avoid this clinic!

I have called the office number listed 210-614-0171 on 8/31/20, 9/3/20, and 10/1/20 and it rings about 10 times then makes a busy tone. Is this office closed???

Probably the worst pediatric Doctor I have ever seen. And with 6 kids I have seen many doctors and specialist. He had no respect for my concerns, and did not seem to care about my daughter. He made a wrong diagnosis without running any tests, or considering that it had been going on for months, and he does not like to be questioned. My daughter got her Adenoids out & ear tubes by a different ENT and is thriving! Don’t waste your time with a Dr who cares more about his ego than the patient.

Horrible experience, doctor was not able to diagnose what my daughter had, he will not give you a straight answer nor explains what the problem really is. He does not like getting questioned and walked out the office when asked to provide details . will not recommend.

We have seen Dr.Moe for two years now, and were overall happy with his service. However, his 2016 prices literally quadrupled in price. Office visit went from $88 to $343 for a 10 minute follow up. We weren't warned, same in network provider, same insurance. Office takes no responsibility and doing nothing to help. All they said is that we are one of the few ENTs in San Antonio and can charge whatever we want. I hope this helps other patients.
